I have been going to Chicago Dough in Richton Park for over 30 years. I live in Frankfort now, but sometimes still crave this pizza. I called up a few months ago and ordered a small thin crust w extra sauce, well done. I get there to pick it up and she read off the order and I told myself she said thick crust, and the bill seemed a little higher, but I paid it. She gave me my credit card back and asked did she say thick, and she said yes. I stated it was suppose to be a thin crust and she looked at another co worker and finally he said well he paid it. She said no problem, and a few minutes later they handed me my pizza. Well they gave me the thick crust pizza even though I didnt order a deep dish. I thought when they were talking and she came and said no problem they were going to make a thin crust, and I would have to eat the difference because the thick is more expensive, and I was alright with that. I turned around in the vestibule and asked for a manager, finally the manager came over to refund me the money and he turned to another associate and wanted to give me a coupon for a free pizza but I felt so small and that I was at fault. By the time the manager refunded me the money the associate never came back with the coupon. I told him it was alright and just left. I had no dinner that night, because even if i went somewhere else it would have been just another 30 min, so i just went home with no food. I have been back but I try to stay away as much as I can. I grew up in the same sub division as the Roses, co founder. I love the pizza, but cant believe they would try to give you something you didnt order even after you tell them......

My first visit to Chicago Dough was not so pleasant. I ordered their pizzs and it wasnt appealing nor did it taste good. I ordered the 2 pizzas..ate one slice asked for my money back and left. Although the waitress was very apologetic. Months later my friend invited me there insisting that their food is usually good and I should give them another try. So I did!!!! This time I loved it. I dined in to their lunch buffet. They had chicken, pasta, salad, pizzs,.bread sticks and a few deserts. Their buffet was nice fresh and hot and they constantly bought more fresh food. Go to Chicago Dough for lunch buffet...m-f from 1130 until 330....they have the best seasoned fried chicken....all for $8 drinks not included!!!

The pizza at this place is the BEST in the far south suburbs of Chicago! Celebrated my sons ISU College Graduation Dinner at the restaurant and just about everyone commented how they have the best pizza around! Service was outstanding and I myself enjoyed the salad bar tremendously. The french dressing is my favorite! They even allowed me to decorate the tables with my own homemade crafts which made the event even more special for my son. I also had my husbands 60th birthday party dinner at the same location and again everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed the food.

The waiter was not too bad, though he seemed new, as in still learning the menu and items. It would have been nice to have gotten all of the groups pizza at the same time, not as getting my pizza as the rest of my group have already eaten and ready to go. To assume that they gave forgotten about my order. With the man running the cash register, who seemed to be the manager, could not be bothered to get off his stool was grumpy and until caring.

The sauce was like eating tomato paste right out of the can. Asked for extra thin crust and got regular crust that was soggy and wet. The pizza had a really so-so flavor...not enough spices (just like the sauce) and for $35 bucks, I could have bought ten really yummy frozen pizzas....guess I wont be buying from Chicago Glue Co. ever again! Sorry

I have been coming to this location for almost 10 years. The Monday buy one get one free has always been my favorite. I normally get a 4-Cheese pizza but all the other pizzas are high quality too. This place has that perfect balance of a hole in wall pizza joint feel and I love that. I highly recommend this place.

Ive been eating at Chicago Dough pizza since I was a teen. Love this place. Take advantage of the lunch buffets. Only issue I have is that the decor hasnt changed since I was a teen. Needs an upgrade but the food is always good. You cant go wrong. Pricing is reasonable and less expensive than Beggars.

The pizza was disgusting. The sauce had a funny taste. I looked at several reviews on here before trying and had much greater expectations. Im not really sure if all of these reviews are real saying the pizza is the best in the city etc. I will never go here again because the pizza was not good.

Showed up by accident for the Tues. night pizza buffet. It was outstanding. Fresh bacon, mushrooms & spinach on the salad bar, plus all the usual stuff. Pizza was very good. Wings were ok. They even had a home made soup which was quite tasty. All for $9!

Just Great people - accidentally gave me the wrong pizza, told me to keep old order, gave me the correct pizza, and was extremely apologetic. Things happen, but whats not always given is great customer service. This company is always serving that!!

Traditional Chicago style deep dish pizza is the best thing to order! They have a salad bar. Inside is a nice old museum style environment, its very interesting decor.
