I love to go to this place to unwind, shoot a few games of pool, eat some good food, and throw back some drinks. They have deals on food and drinks every day/night of the week. Certain days they offer free pool almost all day/night. I havent had a single bad food item on the menu since they renovated the place and QBAR took over. I wouldve given them 5 stars, but the quality of service is sometimes a gamble depending on whos working. There are a few bartenders who are absolutely wonderful and will never let your drink run dry, or let you go too long being hungry. But then there are a few waitresses if you grab a table who I think couldnt care any less about getting a good tip even on a slow night when youre probably only the fifth person in there. All around, I love the place though.

Went there on a Saturday night specifically to get the Italian beef egg rolls. We have never felt so unwelcome in a place. The bar had maybe 8 people and the bartender wanted no part in serving us.. It was almost twilight zone weird. The other bartender who was pregnant. Had a great demeanor about her. But this taller skinny one with glasses cost the bar owner at least an additional 40 that we would have spent. Not counting who ever else she wound help. 3 words to the bar owner .call john taffer before its too late. Too bad really. I like the food there.

Bartenders, the girls...are great. Very sweet young women. The manager was less than professional. Wearing baggy sweats and old t shirt. Stuffing his face behind the cigarette machine and chewing at the bar. Then he abruptly came up to us and snatched the money off the counter in such a rude manner that my boyfriend and I were stunned. We didnt know what had just happened. I certainly expected a bigger crowd. We were so bored and offended we tipped the bartender after half-time and politely made our exit. I dont think well be back. Thanks but, no thanks.

Food was decent. Plenty of TVs and sound was on for the Cubs in the World Series. I arrived a little late for first pitch, and my friends said they had sat for almost a half hour at a half-moon table close to the bar without anyone acknowledging them. Service was sporadic at best. Though we werent in a hurry to leave, and wanted to watch the end of the game, the fact that we had our cards on the table for over an hour before our server finally asked if we wanted a tab is kind of telling about this place. Dont need to come back anytime soon.

They promoted a live show at their venue for months only to cut the show A DAY before it was supposed to happen. Whats worse, they didnt even have a good reason. A Cubs game was playing and so they shut down the show... Thats it... COMPLETELY unprofessional and in doing so they screwed over the fans and the bands as well. My recommendation is to avoid this place like the plague if youre live music fan or a band looking to play the area. Theyre obviously more concerned with presenting themselves as a crappy sports bar.

Was a contracted performer at this venue. Played our full show and fulfilled our contract 100%. End of the night we got stiffed by the manager who refused to pay us our agreed rate. Breach of contract. Theft of service. Please do not support this establishment or any other that treat hard working musicians with so much disrespect just to make a quick buck. Also...food was horrible and slow to come out, drinks were poorly made and expensive.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place is a joke and so are all of the people who work there. $15 cover on a Sunday afternoon for terrible music, their website lies about their daily specials and managers are unwilling to accommodate the customers. Please stay away!!!

Worst wendys ever. I ordered a chocolate frosty in the drive thru and apparently they dont have a drive thru. So I was yelling at a regular window for an hour. I decided to walk in and cats were running the front bar. I got a drink and had a good time. No frosty tho.

Fun place to play pool, they have several 7 foot tables. Good drink specials, decent food and a dj on a few of the nights as well as live band. If youre into gambling, this place has it all, OTB, Slots and several TVS to watch any game, race or sporting events.

They must have just had a job fair. Everybody is new. Bartender is on her second day, waitress is on her first shift. My drink is a q bar special but she obviously doesnt know the right proportion. It was horrible. Food took 30 minutes to come out.
