Family Tradition~! My parents have ate since since they were teens, and I had chuck wagon every single time I go back home, Every single taco place in the entire world does not compare to how good chuck wagon is, when I visit, I seriously eat there 3-4 times in the week I stay. I absolutely love it there is nothing that can beat this, I would HIGHLY Recommend getting about 6 tacos and some of that amazing red sauce! I have been eating chuck wagon every summer for 20 years of my life and its flat out amazing....

Ok all the hype I heard didnt live up to the actual place. Food was slow to come out, and wasnt all that hot so dont know what the hold up was. The tacos I read about werent all that. The enchilada well I cant really say thats what it was. I didnt care for the meat, had a sweet taste I didnt like. Place wasnt that clean and was very old. Said since the 70s I believe nothing has changed since then. Overall....I tried it but was disappointed

Berts Chuckwagon is a unique style of tex mex that is addictive! The Fairview Heights location (original) is different (and better) than the Collinsville one. It is a relaxed environment with a meeting room in the back and old arcades in another area. Good value with a small menu. Is a well known landmark for giving directions.

Ive only had their Mexican cuisine but its the best Tex Mex Ive ever had. Awesome ground beef. Everything smothered in real cheese not nacho cheese sauce. Request the Casa hot sauce instead of their mild sauce.

Whether you want American or Mexican food this place has you covered. It also has BBQ and hand scooped ice cream. The food is delicious the staff is very friendly and they do have a Cherry Coke that is da bomb!

I lived in IL years back and everytime Im near the area, I HAVE to stop at the Chuck Wagon. It is SO good every single time. The tacos are the best! I just wish they had more locations closer to home!

The tenderloin was good, chili was not soupy which I like, and tacos and nachos were good. Very reasonably priced and good food but not a place to stop if you are looking for a health conscious meal.
