We like their egg rolls, the rest is pretty standard fare. Most of the time we have gotten one server who is like a bull in a china shop. When she "sets" plates down on the table, wear earplugs and run for cover because they come in "hot". I dont mean "hot" as in temperature, I mean "hot" as in speed.... The first time we just looked at each other wondering if she was pissed off about something and was this part of a temper tantrum? Then when we had her again, and it happened again, we realized she wasnt blessed with a gift of putting a plate down gently. On subsequent times now that weve gotten her, it happens every time, so much so that we expect it and now if she didnt do it, wed think there is something wrong. We used to get a little annoyed, now Im usually the one facing her when she comes with the plates, and I just warn my husband "here she comes". And we brace ourselves for the "landing" and sometimes its so over the top that its comical and makes us laugh, not at her really but at the absurdity of it all. Otherwise, she is a fine server! So be prepared...there are only ever 2 servers here at any one time so you have a 50/50 chance of getting her. On another plus side, its decorated very nicely, not your typical Chinese decor, and has a nice relaxing, cozy ambience. This restaurant has at least a couple locations, the other one is on Randall but we like this one better.

My absolute favorite place for Chinese and other Asian staples. There egg rolls are the best I may have ever had. They have a quick carry out or delivery option as well as a beautiful restaraunt atmosphere. May I recommend the crispy honey glazed chicken?! There is nothing like it! The chicken is nice big chunks of white meat and fried in a crispy batter that is still just soft enough on the inside, and the honey sauce is something most places dont have, and if they do it doesnt come close! Also the crab Rangoon is super stuffed and never burnt. Ive always liked everything new Ive tried, happy family is another favorite. You can tell they dont just use the same generic sauces everyone else does. Plus there is flavor in the food not JUST the sauce like many other places. Its also never too heavy and everyone is friendly, Ive never had an order messed up! Actually writing this is making me want to order right now!

Going downhill fast. It was always popular Americanized "Chinese" to begin with, but still, used to be tasty. The BBQ Pork Fried Rice wasnt cooked as well as they used to; tasted like all the ingredients were tossed together like a salad and dished up. The oil tasted and smelled rancid. Sesame Chicken was battered chicken NUGGETS tossed - not even cooked - in a very red sweet and sour sauce (somebody elses botched up order?) with a pinch of sesame sprinkled on top! Egg roll stuffing has more chopped up ends and stalks, to cut corners, i suppose, and DRIP-PING grease in droplets. Been going there for nearly a decade, and their cooking is definitely downgrading, judging by the last few times.

This is the worst place Ive been to in my entire life. Food is disgusting I ordered sesame chicken but instead received her poop with sauce on it . The workers are so lazy when I ordered delivery they didnt even walk up to the door. Guys smelled like old gym socks . I found a used tampon in my chicken . I asked for chicken fried rice but got peas, carrots eggs and one grain of rice. If you want your taste buds to burn off then go eat there. I aint going to lie though the spring rolls were great. It made my buttocks barf.

I always judge an Asian restaurant based on the quality of its egg rolls. My mom told me Chen is good food so I ordered egg rolls to see for myself. They are very big and loaded with grease. I ate them in my car and grease was everywhere poring out of the bag and layered at least an inch high in the bag. After I stupidly ate both of them, I couldnt think to eat for the rest of the day as I felt that greasy nasty taste in my mouth and stomache all day long. If thats the only option in the area (which it isnt), Ill eat anywhere else.

Placed my order 95 minutes ago...was told 40 minutes for delivery. Called 25 minutes ago...told driver already on the way...live 12 minutes away...not here yet. Prices on website were not updated and some menu items were no longer offered. Eventually our order did come. The bag it was in stunk like cigarette smoke. The food was below room temperature. There was less than 2 ounces of meat in the tomato, pepper , beef dish. After reheating the food, it was bland. One star is too generous, but there is nothing lower to give!

The Garlic shrimp was terrrible!! The shrimp was not edible and was fatty with odd shreds coming off of it. Tasted like freezer burned too. The only thing edible on my plate was the broccoli. The dish was not even garlicky either. The waitress that served me and my sister was in a rush and was not very pleasant, and it wasnt even busy in the restaurant. I will never return to this place. Looks alot nicer then what they serve.

Never been to this restaurant prior to this quick visit for lunch. Ordered mainly appetizers; pot stickers, hot & sour soup and a salad. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the hot items. Those two items are my test of the restaurants menu. If they pass, most likely will the entire menu. Definitely two thumbs up for Chen Chinese Cuisine!

Food was pretty good I must say , the one thing I would have to say is that im not sure if they expected me to dump my food on the table and eat it with my hands cuz i got no utensils to eat my food with. I was going to give this place 4 stars but the young lady taking the orders was pretty cute and kind so their for they get 5 stars

Very good. Our first time there since the remodel and it was great. We went for dinner and the food was very tasty and fresh. The atmosphere was welcoming and made us feel comfortable to dine-in. We both had leftovers and forgot the boxes on table. The waitress ran out to the parking lot to give us our leftovers.

Absolutely ignorent man yells at me after I wait at the counter for 10 min. You ready to order? I said yes, then hes gone again and a nice young lady was directed to help me..... I should have yelled back YES, I HAVE BEEN READY, your rude and the restaurant is dirty top to bottom. Instead, I just put it here.

Very disappointed tonight, have ordered from here before and thought it was decent. Was that even chicken I got? Looked like the stuff most toss when trimming chicken. Disgusting, chewey, dark and fatty! Needs more consistency, not sure Ill being going there again! :(
