I dont know why so many reviewers are having bad experiences here. Some of the best take-out Chinese I have had anywhere. Been going there for 10 yrs. They dont put jalapenos in their Mongolian beef! What? i just had some Mongolian beef and it is clean flank steak and the sauce is delicious and made very well. May be a tad spicy for some, but just tell them to hold the red chili pepper(s)/pepper flakes. I also usually get it with green onion ONLY. No room here for carrots or other nonsense.

Yes, the woman who owns the place comes off a bit rude, but to give the benefit of the doubt they take a LOT of orders and I will call her efficient. The food is good. I suggest the Sesame Chicken. My family loves their Crab Rangoon and their egg rolls. Not the best Chinese I ever had, but solidly good and very consistent. I eat there about once a month and plan to continue

this place has good food. yes people say lady is rude (i think some of these people are too sensitive). theyre the only Chinese place in cary and in the close surrounding area, they have a small restaurant, and theyre busy all day everyday. so either thats what causes it or thats just her normal tone. either way, its great food and ive never had an order screwed up.

Tried it last night for the first time because our regular place closed. My wife and I give it two thumbs up and China House will be our new place. I agree with others that the wonton wrap (or whatever it is) used for crab rangoons and egg rolls is a bit too soggy - Im use to a little more crispiness, but still tasty. We loved everything we ordered.

I ordered from here (not the first time) but when I was on the phone with the woman, she was very rude when I had any question about the size or price, and once I ordered, she just hung up. So I would say the service is below average, the food is pretty good though. Plus its the only Chinese place in Cary!

One of the worst Chinese places Ive ever eaten at. I ordered egg rolls and beef fried rice. The egg rolls were bland and soggy. They tasted and felt like they were microwaved. The fried rice had white onions, rice and a maybe 6 pieces of beef thats it! Ill never eat here again!

Best Chinese food around. We have been ordering from China House for 18 years. The food in consistently very good. We enjoy the General Tso Chicken, steamed dumplings and egg rolls. Generous portions so one order is at least two meals. Good food and good value.

Have tried it twice and great lunch special. Eating in restaurant is not the best since it is very plain and bare(and a little chilly during the winter). But good fast food will bring me back.

Easily met expectations. Im from New York, and the Lo Mein here brought me back -- tough to find around Chi. Highly recommended if you just want good Chinese food.
