We are turks and we know what turkish cuisine means... Worst Lahmajun in Chicago. Nothing to do with the turkish food in this "restaurant". Borek is not a borek.. Lamb kebab were still waiting for.. Ayran was very good, though. The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of a one star is the young lady waitress that was trying to do half of her best for us. Thanks to her you got 2 stars. Not advised at all! Especially turkish people, be careful with these guys :)

Although the food is acceptably tasty anything else is negative about this place. There is a heavy mold odor coming from basement, stained ceiling tiles, everywhere needs painting, non-smiling staff. The dishes are quite expensive and on top of they forcefully charged a whopping 20% gratuity from 5 people. If you are craving for middle eastern or Turkish food, please perform a good search and go somewhere else, not recommend at all.

This is very decent Turkish food prepared well and served quickly. A nice, cozy little dining opportunity for a weekday night on the north side. A bunch of Turks eat and hang out there as well, which suggests that the offerings are not only good, but authentic. Yum, definitely; recommended, certainly. Extra points with the staff if you try your hand a a little bit of the (admittedly difficult) language.

The traditional dishes and the stadard bread are superb comfort food. I highly, highly recommend the hankar bagendi and the karides guvec. Service is good too. This place is not like standard Turkish restaurants but is better for it. Its more like home cooking. My wife and I regularly travel an hour to get here and we always leave satisfied. Cant say enough good things about this place.

I have been to many Turkish restaurants recently so I can easily compare this place with others. The food portion is small in compare to its price. Its tasty but you can find higher quality Turkish restaurants in Chicago. The service is very slow even when they have just couple tables filled during weekend! They serve fresh bread with their food which was really tasty.

It was first time for me to eat Turkish food, and it was great! I did not know what Turkish food was, so I just had curious, and I came here. I ordered Adana kebab combined chopped beef and lamb from the grill. It was really good. Also, customer service was great!!!!! If I can come to visit Chicago again, I will definitely come here again too!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

The food is out of this world. Best ekmek (bread) of any ethnic restaurant. Iskeder is too die for and the Groupon was a great deal when you can find it, but some things cant be bought using Groupon (like iskender) and the menu is marked with NC (NO COUPON) for those items. Everything has been amazing from this restaurant.

Food was ok, and it looked nice. The server could be better, and also tried to "upscale" manually written by hand total bill amount by a quater of what it should be. To which we pointed out, and got a re-written total back, with no apology whatsoever.

food was ok but not the best turkish food. russian server in the turkish restaurant was weird. her attitude was kind of mean and I dont think she knows about the foods much as well. I dont think I will go back there again.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Terrible food, said it was cooked in the oven, was microwaved. Did not match description. Not worth it at all for the price. Go to Pita Inn and get fresh food.

Delicious food, warm service and nice ambiance. All dishes are amazing and rich in flavors. Moreover, it is a BYOB place which is great especially for groups. Highly recommend Turkish Cuisine.

belly dancing was nice but it took like an hour to get our food and its pricey. cant find a meal for under 15. i usually like to stay around 12 and there are plenty of cheaper places
