Your average, hole in the wall Chinese bakery in Chinatown. Why 5 stars? Bc they have dinner rolls that are out of this world!! This is the only place that makes em this way, so pay attention, boys n girls. They come in a round foil tray covered in a plastic bag, 5 or 6 to a tray, & they are always buttery soft & moist for days. The thing I love about them is that theyre half the size of normal dinner rolls youd find in Chinatown (I honestly never finish them, theyre so huge), they dont have raisins, & best of all: the rolls have huge bubbles in them that are SALTY. (from using salted butter?) MIND. BLOWN. The rolls slightly sweet, balanced with the salty butter bubble. So. Good. Its honestly the ONLY reason I come here. They also serve cafe food, coffee, & tea for dirt cheap.

The breakfast bao are enormous here as well as inexpensive. Take them home, let water boil, steam for ten minutes. Done. The combination of pork, egg, and sweet Chinese sausage is outstanding. Its the Asian egg mcmuffin except a million times better. Desert here comes in many forms. My favorite is the walnut bean pastry. Just about perfect.
