a good establishment is only as good as the wait staff AND THE SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS! Ive been here multiple times because of my wife and I never really like this place. My wife has lived in Bridgeport for the past 42 years, her whole family grew up here. So we came again today and I was highly disappointed! I had it this restaurant has the worst service ever. Is the first time I see that the manager or owner who ever he was gives the reason to one of his employees even after we complained about the waitress. Bad atitude, Bad service, Disrespectuf, just terrible hope that no one else goes through what i did. If they would have been busy I could understand but when you have two waitresses, two busboys and its not busy theres no excuse we had to constantly find our waitress if we needed anything. The place is not even that big! To begin with. SHe thought to do NOTHING on her own. How many passes do you make without refilling drinks? Or Asking if wed like a refill on the chips. We had to ask for every single thing on the table! Can we get another pop, can we get more water, more napkins, another beer? There were 4 of us and two small children under 2 years old. Once the bill come She made damn sure to add the gratuity to the bill of 20% For doing nothing. it doesnt end there and the Manager then gets loud with me and hostile. When i asked the manager there if here cared for his customers he replied no and to get out. I will NEVER go back to this place or recommend it to anyone.

Fan-freakin-tastic! I first came here with a group of co-workers and they accommodated all 15 of us. They placed us upstairs, joined tables and it was done very quickly, so no long waiting or reservation needed. We started with a round of Patron shots (It was a long day) and margarita pitchers. My suggestion is order strawberry on the rocks. Woof! Delicious! Appetizers included nachos, quesadillas and queso fundido. It was traditional but the chorizo in the fundido tasted homemade making us order that one twice. For the main course I ordered the chicken enchiladas, which included a salad and delicious homemade rice and beans. I ate my food slowly, so I can enjoy each spice of the verde sauce combined with chicken. Oh, that just made me hungry for that plate again. Most of the people ordered the steak burrito which everyone grew silent when they ate, and then raved about the quality of steak after a few bites. The waitresses were friendly and easy to look at and gave us time to talk and drink after our table was cleared. Now we made Panchos part of a tradition.

I used a Buy 1 entree, get the 2nd 1/2 off coupon from a local coupon packet. My two meals came out to just under $13. I always get the 3 soft-shelled taco dinner with marinated pork (its a LITTLE spicy), I like to squeeze lime juice on them and add the houses hot sauce. My BF ordered the ground beef tostada (2) dinner. Both were very good! I have yet to eat there- always ordered to-go. The timeframe they give me is always on the dot. If you decide to sit down and eat, it can be very busy on the weekends, so go early. They do have a 2nd floor, but I think its closed for private parties. Definitely worth your money to try this place! During the summertime, there is an outdoor patio. Also, Ive heard they have some good margaritas!

Great little neighborhood Mexican food spot in Bridgeport. If there is one thing you take away from my review is that you need to order something with their steak. While tacos, burritos, or fajitas are a common at any Mexican restaurant my go to option of steak chilaquiles is from the breakfast menu and luckily it is served any time of day. Its incredibly tender and well flavored so dont fill up on the free chips and salsa/pico de gallo because they are good enough to do so if you arent careful. One warning - be careful with the tasty margaritas because they can sneak up on you after just one or two.

I go there often, and most of the time, I enjoy their food and service very much. Last time I was there, I asked for a Margarita with an specific Tequila, as the waiter did not know what kind of tequila the premixed Margaritas were made with. I got a Margarita that tasted like sorbet did not taste any tequila in it and paid more than the premixed. She brought 3 tortillas for a dish of Fajitas for 2 people.... Not good. Being a Mexican restaurant waitress should know more about the menu, including drinks. Other than that food has never disappointed me.

Pancho Pistolas in a nice little area of Bridgeport, where there is a bit of foot traffic. I went on a weekend night and there was no waiting for a table, but the place was hopping, plenty of room for everyone. It was definitely nicer than your average Taquería. The menu had your standard fair along with some special dishes. The server was very accomidating with my food allergies while taking my order and the food was delicious! My friends rave about the guacamole and Margaritas. Ill have to try that next time. #30daychallenge

We rarely have to wait for a table at Panchos, even when its busy! I think its because their service is so quick. The servers are always nice and you get your food very fast compared to a lot of places. Whats better is that the food is delicious and well-priced! I usually leave with a to-go box even for a meal that was under $10. Plus, there are complementary chips and salsa! My only gripe is that the margaritas seem a little weak on the tequila for the price and the beer selection is limited. But I still keep going back. :)

Went there 2 times. The first was great had fast, acceptable service the second was HORRIBLE!! My family and I were seated right away but then we had to wait 20 minutes or more until I went and told them we needed waitress, then the waitress finally came to take our order, brought us our food and walked away. She walked past 4 times without asking us if everything was ok. The service was just horrible.

Panchos first off has great margaritas!!! Their food is pretty good. I actually had never had a chimichanga that wasnt soggy or dripping with grease till I had one here! Im a huge fan of fautas and enchiladas and they did not disappoint! the rice and beans are good and youd be surprised how many places can mess even that up. In the summer they have al fresco dining set up with is nice too.

I live in the area and always walked by this unassuming Mexican place. We stopped by one evening after going to Marias (which does not have food). Its pretty typical traditional Mexican food but it was tasty. I got a vegetarian Torta and the free chips and salsa are yummy. Theres a small sidewalk outside seating area which is cute. Its pretty solid so I would go back.

Food is fresh and delicious. Waitstaff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Kitchen staff worked fast, we were served quickly. Decor is inviting. Prices are quite reasonable. Try their jumbo buritto, its good for three meals. Only negative, street parking only. Were walking distance so that didnt matter to us. Pancho Pistolas is our favorite Mexican food restaurant.
