I have had two experiences at Mindys, and will slant towards the first experience, as I feel like it is most indicative of what you can expect. The food is excellent and the service is good. We received very few scornful looks bringing a baby in and "stealing" a seat from a paying customer. The second time was on New Years Day, and the place didnt seem to be firing on all of their cylinders. I expect it was a matter of the senior staff getting to take the day off.

One of the rudest individuals Ive ever dealt with that was "supposed" to take our order, the guy proceeded to completely ignore me and my wife and we were the only ones in line for about five minutes! as he stood there doing nothing. The cook had to come up and ask us what chicken we wanted and he was right behind the rude guy who still didnt take our order! Used to really like this place but after this experiance will not be back!

This a new place in the bucktown area. Its kind of a mexican style chicken place that offers two varieties of grilled chicken with a different variety of sides from mac n cheese to rice. Its definitely a good place if youre in a hurry and wanna grab a quick lunch or dinner. Kind of a small dining place and the hours are a little sporadic, but its a great meal.

El Jefe Yes yall!!!! It is so the bomb and the steamed veggies are totally on the money. Located in Bucktown just north on Western from Armitage check out The Art of Chicken. There Mac n Cheese is also killer. I stumbled upon this good food joint just crusing down Western. Its worth the stop. Check it out for realz!!!

Chicken made delicious so tender, crispy with a side of the sweet potato fries so crispy and full of flavor. Ive had both of the chicken flavors and both are fulfilling. I love this place!!! I guess keeping it simple and being masters of one just works!!!!

Wow! When I lived in the Logan square area. My wife did not want to cook so I searched food around my area and saw this place on yelp. Decided to drive to western and OMG! this place is very delicious. I would recommend for everyone to visit at least once.

Excellent, excellent chicken is served here and the spicy sauce you can have on the side is equally amazing. The only mistake I made was ordering a quarter chicken. I would have been more satisfied ordering half or a whole chicken, just for myself.

On Put-In-Bay in Lake Erie there is this spot and all it does is sell chicken. They smoke it all day and it falls of the bone and you weep in its glory. This is almost identical. And the mashed potatoes are spot on as well.

Great lowkey Chicken spot. It might seem like a small selection, but just about everything on the menu is straightforward and delicious. Theres a short wait period unless its really busy, and even then the wait is worth it.

My favorite chicken place in Chicago. Simple menu, very fresh and tasty, fast service. Have not tried their mashed potatoes or mac and cheese, so I cant say anything about those sides. I do recommend the El Jefe chicken.

chicken is chicken. But the better of the two is more juicy! the macaroni were homemade. Not really any particular style. Chicken super soft and come right off the bone. Nice outdoor seating with BYOB.
