First off, the waitress was MIA to begin with, and the host ended up starting to take our order because the waitress was nowhere to be found. This was at 9 PM on a Friday. There was almost no one else in there, and everyone else had been served. So when we asked for drinks, they brought 1 shot instead of the 3 we asked for. The chips and guac we had were atrocious. The guac was warmer than the chips. The tacos are overpriced for the quality received and also had been sitting or something because they were cold. Overall, the waitress spent more more time talking to a friend than serving customers. When we got the bill, she shorted us the change. Wont ever be back and wont recommend to anyone.

I loved the cocktails here, and the tacos are amazing. I went once while it was busy and recieved excellent sevice. I am giving a low review because the service I recieved here last was awful. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes (the place was pretty much empty) before being offered a drink menu or anything. This persisted throughout the night as the bartender ignored my friend and I, while the bartender seemed to have time to take a few tequila shots with other employees. If they wanted my money, they should have served me while I sat with an empty glass.

I have been to Wedge many times now, the past two times my family and I have had the best experiences because of the host Nick. He went out of his way to make our experience awesome. We showed up early for our reservation and he was able to seat is right away without making us feel like we were a bother. The food was great and so was our waitress, but Nick made us feel like we were more than just customers, like we were friends or family... Which is a rare to find these days. And it was clear to see he treated everyone this way not just my family.

A place claiming "Tequila Bar" status should be ashamed of its sorry excuse for a margarita. Brown with too much agave nectar, warm from lack of ice, using the slightest amount of a house tequila Ive never heard of. This margarita reveals a lack of appreciation for the spirit supposedly represented. What a tremendous disappointment. The tequila list is fair - but nothing you cant find retail at a nearby liquor store. And the food is average. But I cant imagine the situation that will take me back to Wedge.

Our server did not have enough change for a $50 bill on a $32 ticket and the guy behind the bar would not let her use the cash drawer to make change. We ended up to just leave the whole thing as a tip because it was lunch and I had to be back at work and it had taken them 10 minutes to sort it out that far already. The food was okay but some of my meat was burnt. I tried to call twice to complain but was disconnected both times and finally got though on the third try. Otherwise the service was decent.

bad experience. shrimp tacos had been over cooked, the shrimp had been spicy, yet the stuff they put on had totally overtook the taste of the shrimp. the wait staff had been new, yet nice, however, very naïve to what she had been told too, our tortilla had mold on it, the kitchen told her it was a red cabbage stain, NOT! it clearly was mold, we told her and she still did not know what was going on, the assistant manager came and apologized. First time there and never going back!

A few of us were looking for a nice, Mexican-themed locale, and this was the recommendation. Cant recall everything that was ordered, but there was a combination of margaritas, nachos, and tacos. While the food and drinks were of very good quality, I think the price was a little high considering portions provided. We had a great time, though, and the staff was helpful finding us a local bar to hit up after dinner. Would definitely consider going again.

Overall, I was disappointed. It wasnt bad, just lacking for the price paid. This is only based on a single visit, but I likely wont go back. Not when they are better options. I tried the Pepino Margarita, and though I really liked the flavor, found it weak in strength. Again, it wasnt bad, but disappointing when your paying $8 for a drink. I also wasnt a fan of paying $3 for chips and salsa, when I can get better chips at Mas Amigas for free.

Best tequila selection around Chambana. Food and margaritas are very good but incredibly overpriced. Think uptown Chicago prices for tacos and margaritas. Small dining area but a decent place for a date. Id rate higher but the prices are just that high. Also...all 5 star ratings of this place are from staff. I know this because I was former staff.

Cheap, delicious tacos and a fantastic, expansive outdoor dining area makes this a great place to hang out, especially with larger groups. Though if you sit inside bring a jacket, every time Ive been here its been freezing inside.

Wedge has good food Americanized Mexican food. Its prices are very reasonable too and there are a lot of cocktail options. This is a great place for a quick bite or a drink with friends.
