Best Korean BBQ restaurant in Urbana-Champaign, hands-down. The other Korean places on campus really dont compare. They offer an all-you-can eat meat grill for $23 which is a crazy good deal, especially if youre crazy hungry. The doshirak rice dish they give you at the start of a grill meal is great and amazingly delicious. Their hotpot selection and other traditional dishes are great too. The staff is extremely personable, the food is downright awesome and I would recommend this to all my friends who are into Korean food. They also offer some fusion dishes--things like their Kimchi fries (which are to die for and the perfect side dish for a cold glass of beer) and also their bulgogi tacos which were surprisingly amazing when I decided to try them. They offer a limited selection of beer and soju and also have a small dessert menu which is great to have, but I usually dont get dessert because I am so full at the end of my meal that I cant handle more. Like I said before, the staff is great, the food is delicious and I am always greeted with a smile whenever I come here. They even know me by name now since I come so often with my wife. And honestly, I am surprised by some of the reviews Ive seen about this place, especially about the service. Any problems I have had here were handled professionally by the manager on duty every time and they always made me feel like they wanted to do their best to make sure things were right with my meal and experience there. Anyway Yori Q is the best! Love the food and the people. Definitely high on my list of "Best Restaurants In Urbana-Champaign".

We had lunch box combo which is a nice box with some korean side dish (tempura and some tofu) and rice. I ordered bulgogi beef. To be fair, the food there is good. Serving size is mediocre for a lunch box. The price is high with ridiculously high tips. Totally eight of us went there and we were forced to be charged a flat tip of over 18% but frankly speaking there was no service at all. In addition, it is the horrible service that shocked me. The waiter was appallingly rude and stupid without any common sense. At first he could not figure out how many of us wanted ice water and how many wanted hot water. Then when one of my friends had his spicy squid, it was actually chicken. But he was told it was chicken. With doubt, my friend started to eat a little and realized it was indeed CHICKEN. When the waiter realized the mistake and this chicken lunch was meant for another friend of mine, he did something I had never seen in my life. He just WANTED TO HAND that dish to the guy waiting for his chicken even the dish had been eaten by someone else. Of course we requested a new dish should be served to our friend and we finished the lunch without even a water refill. I truly do not believe this type of service is worth any tip but we could not do anything since the so-called gratuity was printed on the bill! In a word, this is a place I would not go again and suggest you guys be aware of the service there.

The location has a really cute "party" room for groups of about 4-7 people that is very nicely designed and separate from the main restaurant. My recommendation is for the hot pot (any flavor) and the dumplings as a appetizer.

My husband and I stopped here before my doctors appointment and it was AMAZING!! The friendly service was just an added bonus. Try their Treasure Island sushi. Your palate deserves to taste this mouth savoring dish!
