Great ice cream, terrible unfriendly rude service. If you are in the mood for some great ice cream with a side of sass, then this is the place for you. I have been here many times because the ice cream is so good, but the service by the employees always ranges from mediocre to downright rude. They have also made recent changes to the menu, removing the "baby" and kids" size small options. These were great choices for anyone with little kids, but now the only choice is a typical sized adult serving. And the employees are either not willing, or not allowed to make substitutions to accommodate little ones. I have had my fill of their nasty attitude, the ice cream no matter how delicious, can not cover up the bitterness of the staff. I will not be back.

The worker we dealt with was very rude. After ordering cookie dough in a malt she told us that she wont put cookie dough in a malt. After then asking for cookie dough in a shake she banged on the window to help enunciate that a shake and malt are basically the same thing and that the cookie dough wont fit through a straw. I dont understand why its relevant to them whether or not cookie dough will fit through a straw. If I want cookie dough in a malt then why not satisfy the customer? We left a post on their page about it and whoever is handling their messenger saw nothing wrong with the workers attitude. Definitely will not be back.

Ive been going to Dairy Haven for 30 years. Today was my last time. They have always had great service and terrific ice cream. But all good things must end. The service was horrible tonight. The simplest request was denied. I wanted a styrofoam cups for one of the shakes I was taking home because I didnt want it to melt. As it turns out, it wasnt necessary because the shakes were too runny as soon as we got them. And the ingredients were pathetically skimped on. To top it off, my wife found a piece of plastic in her shake. Weve enjoyed the last 30 years, but will not be going back.

Best soft server in the metro east. If you are looking for traditional soft serve ice cream, head to Caseyville and Dairy Haven. I almost always get the strawberry vanilla twist cone. The orange and chocolate are good too. Ice cream sodas and slusharoos are delicious if you want something different. My daughter also loves their banana split concrete. The drive thru is weird with you pulling up to the passenger window but that is my only complaint.

This is the best ice cream Ive ever had. Personal recommendation is a strawberry chocolate chip concrete (or a chocolate covered strawberry concrete depending on whos working). Anyone complaining about service is nuts. You walk up and order ice cream and they give it to you, what more do you want? Nothing compares to dairy haven. Make the trip out and youll be back. I guarantee it.

I used to live up the street and Fairview Heights and have been coming down the hill for this ice cream my entire life. I love that I can now share it with my five children and all of their friends too. Still has the best chocolate ice cream in orange sherbet around

Employee scolded me for thinking sprinkles were a sundae topping. They also dont seem to comprehend that people in the drive-thru lane are taking their order to-go. They just lost a customer that has been a patron for years.

Best ice cream Ive ever had. Ive been going here since I was a kid and Im 27 now. I wont stop til the day they close, which hopefully NEVER happens!! The strawberry twist and the.orange sherbert are my two absolute favorites!!

It is HARD to find a good malt these days, and Dairy Haven has got it down! Its my favorite place to stop on the way out of STL. Its always pretty busy, but we never have to wait too long and the prices are affordable!
