Ive eaten here a few times, and while their award winning burgers are good, i think a lot of it is mental. That said yesterday i had lunch here we asked if there were any specials for that day, she wasnt sure stumbled for a minute looked around and found the specials board to read them back to us. I ordered a corned beef sandwich, the waitress as she was taking my order asked me "what side would you like with that?" i asked what my options were. "fries, chips, onion rings, fruit, or vegetables" i didnt really want any of them, but figured if i was going to choose one onion rings would be fine. the food came out the sandwich was good, maybe 4 oz of corned beef on a pretzel roll, and 4 onion rings, huge. almost 2" thick, while some people might like this i did not, but thats not the point, i bit into the first one and it along with the rest of them were green, (the outer skin of the onion that most of us discard and throw away when were chomping onions.) no big deal as i said i didnt really want the side anyway. When the bill came i glanced it over, a charge for $2.50 for onion rings.. bringing the total for me meal to $11.45 (for 4 oz of corned beef on a pretzel bun) as i gave the waitress her receipt and our payment i commented to her "perhaps in the future you should let customers know that theres a $2.50 up charge for onion rings" she responded with a dismissive "ok" and then after the credit card signature was given "are they really $2.50 they must have raised the price the used to be $1.50" Im sorry i would assume it would be part of your job to know the prices of sides and if and when the price was raised along with the daily specials, however still wanting to blame myself for the mixup i grabbed a menu as we were leaving and flipped through it, no where in the menu are sides listed, which means nowhere in the menu are prices for said sides listed, so the responsibility of informing the customer of the prices falls completely on the wait staff. The typical representation of such a situation in any other restaurant would be as follows "it comes with either fries or chips OR for $2.50 more you can add onion rings" The 2 other people i was having lunch with have both worked in the service industry for over 10 years each and both agreed with me that the representation by the waitress and her response to the issue was unacceptable. And we were all shocked to find no information when reviewing the menu.

My life was threatened by a man purporting to be the owner Leo Florio. I went today for a burger and the place was super crowded. I spotted the only open seat at the bar and asked both people on either side if they minded me sitting there. I squeezed into the seat and ordered a coke. a man drinking beer at the end of the bar asked me in a confrontational tone if I was having a bad day. I responded that it had been long. He proceeded to glare at me while I waited for my burger and while eating. The first burger was overcooked and it was extremely busy so the waitress offered to redo it. I spent about an hour there quietly sitting at the bar and ignored the man at the end of the bar. When I left I thanked and paid my server for the meal and good service. I was followed outside by the man that had been glaring at me for an hour. He drunkenly shouted for my attention and then told me that I was an unpleasant person and not to come back to his bar and that I should go to Wendys next time and if I came back he would kill me. Needless to say I dont think Ill be coming back to this bar ive been patronizing for the last 24 years. I get that he wants to sell alcohol to people sitting at the bar but was my ordering a coke and burger not enough? I left feeling confused and wonder if I should fear for my safety. After looking at photos on the tracks website I can confirm that I was in fact threatened by the owner Leo Florio who apparently likes drinking beers over selling them to paying customers like myself! I have never been treated this way at any reastrant and cant believe the owner would accost a paying customer. This place used to be my favorite burger bar but now I will take care to tell every single person I meet not go to this place.

Went for their infamous Friday Fish Fry. Really good value for your buck, less than $10 for an endless fish fry. Choice of Fries or Potato Pancakes. They give you 6 silver dollar sized potato pancakes, along with a side dish of apple sauce. Flavoring of the potato pancakes is oh so good. I am salivating just thinking about those small bites of heaven on a Saturday afternoon. The included bread was really good. I thought it would be sub par since they are giving you a good amount of food but nope, I was wrong. Now to the star of the plate, I would suggest to eat the fish first. Why you ask? Cause I made mine soggy by eating the corn on the cob first. I buttered up that cob which made the melted butter run under the fish. The fish was nice and flaky, parts that were not touched by the melted butter were super crunchy. We will be back for more. On Friday night, we arrived at Track around 5:15 with a 30 minute wait. As the evening progressed, the wait was longer. Keep that in mind and be patient, it is worth the wait.

The patio experience is great! TVs in the dining room and on the patio are a bit small. Crowds are big so plan on a wait. Food is above average for the area. Small changes to your burger selection (like type of cheese) result in unreasonable upcharges. Dining room reflects sound in such a way that its really loud and difficult to hear your friends. Its less than a 1 minute walk to the Cary Metra station. Most server experiences are good or great. Friendly atmosphere. Great place to watch Blackhawk games as the whole place is into the game! They recently replaced their old bar stools at their tables with new bar stools, still missing the backs... interestingly though they have chairs for bar seats. Seems backwards and Im not a fan of bar stools.

I went on a Friday at 11 am. Couldnt decide on a burger, went with the waitress recommendation. Burger had grilled onion, bacon ( like 10 strips), cheese and a fried egg and a giant plate of homemade chips. This burger was one of the best I have ever had. I couldnt finish it, took over half home for work that night. It sat in the fridge overnight because work got busy. I am sitting here eating this burger that was in the fridge for over 24 hours and heated up for a minute thirty and can still say " its better than 98% of the burgers I have ever had FRESH! THANK YOU AND I WILL BE BACK A LOT, dispite living over an hour away.
