We stopped for supper on our way home. The parking lot was full which is always a good sign on a Saturday night when the weather is perfect. We chose to eat in the dining room but they offer outdoor dining if that is your preference. I ordered the special which was prime rib. In short, I have never had a better cut of meat. This was melt in your mouth good. My wife ordered the prime rib & shrimp scampi. Her prime rib was just as good as mine even though she ordered it cooked differently. Her shrimp scampi were good sized & the sauce was not the typical greasy sauce you get with it. It was light & delicious. My one daughter ordered the shrimp linguini. The noodles were great, the shrimp were large & succulent & the sauce was perfect. My other daughter had a chicken, bacon & ranch wrap. She said the wrap was the right combination of chicken & bacon. Neither was over powering & she thought the onion added the right flavor to give it a kick. We also had cheese curds as an appetizer & dinner salads. Nothing special about these. My only complaint was that my table was set where I had to look directly into the sun the entire time. They had the tinted shade pulled but it didnt help much. The positive to this is I still got to look over the lake. Its a fair trade in my opinion. If you are looking for a place to eat in the Fon du Lac area, Id stop here.

I will never go back!! They dont understand how a medium rare steak is supposed to be cooked!! When sent back to the kitchen to be corrected the new steak was also brought out well done!!! The prime rib was also over cooked and for being rated some of the best in the city it was horrible. The waitress forgot our dinner rolls and appetizer and we had to ask her to take it off the bill. They couldnt be bothered to refill our waters nor our drinks. Then to top it all off when the hostess asked how everything was they were politely told and we received a curt apology without any offer to correct the problem!!!! What a poor way to run a customer service business!!!! I will NEVER eat there again and if possible to give zero stars I would do so. Beware!!!!!

I enjoy the sunday brunch here and find the lakeside seating in the bar is the best in town for watchong storms on the water. The menu and restaurant aspect of this place arent really all i had hoped. However my bar was set pretty high on this one because of a existing bais towards the last establishment in this location. However its to be noted that the market aim of the current business is aimed at a different target audience.

We were just there. Waitress was very inattentive. I ordered balsamic vinaigrette for my salad and got a Peanut Thai sauce instead(good thing Im not allergic to peanuts). My prime rib was done to perfection. My mothers meal, which was basically Beef Stroganoff had Parmesan cheese on it?? Just because we live in Wisconsin doesnt mean everything has to have cheese on it. For the most part it was really good except for a few hiccups

We (4 of us) had lunch there a week ago and had a great experience. The lunch specials were quite inexpensive and all of our food was very good. The service was excellent and we had a very short wait for the food to arrive. The location is very scenic; alas, we live about 300 miles from there so I dont know when well be back!

The food is freaking awesome!,Ive yet to be disappointed.drinks are strong,staff is super friendly. "Jesus the cook/chef" has the best citrus baked chicken,and Heather provided great service and attention,she even packed up our food for us! U dont find service like that often.

Go to their Sunday brunch buffet every now and then. It is amazing! As a vegetarian it can be hard to find tasty items on buffets, not here though. Always good stuff. Great view of the lack and the staff is probably the friendliest in town.

Our favorite local stop for Friday fish fry. Food has always been great and the prices are fantastic. The best part is, the sunset. Time out your visit when the sunsets for a breathtaking view over the lake.

Waited 1 hour after ordering, still no food. People that came in 30 minutes after us and ordered already had their food. Obviously our order was not turned in. This place is a joke. Got up and walked out.

EXTREMELY slow service! Drinks were cheap and strong however we had to wait 20 minutes for 2 after which we STILL did not have food menus. View is great as long as youre willing to wait.

The river is the best in town. Order it with the wild rice and asparagus soup. I always pour the juice from the steak over the rice. So delicious! Highly recommend. :)
