The Checkers restaurant is pretty similar in style to Rallys, since theyre somehow related as corporations, so I knew what to expect as far as food goes when I got there. In fact, theyre so similar that the menu is nearly identical, down to the names of some of the burgers. I was pretty excited to get my hands on some of their french fries, which are greasy but absolutely delicious. The food was exactly as expected. Pretty unhealthy, pretty sloppy, definitely not something to eat every day, but very guilty-pleasure-esque. That being said, the restaurant was an absolute mess inside. The building is a re-purposed building that used to be a Browns Chicken. Theres a pretty large area inside that can be used for seating, but it was clearly an after thought. The chairs and tables were tiny aluminum units that look very out of place. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with waste smeared on the walls and toilets. The floor was wet and slick all over inside the dining section, with some mud tracked in by customers. The cashier was rude and impatient, and the rest of the kitchen staff were arguing with each other loudly enough to be heard by all the customers. The outdoor patio is messy and muddy. The patio benches are nearly unusably small, and the adjacent parking lot is a disaster of potholes and poor lighting. All in all, I wont be going back. Ive satisfied my grease craving for the year already. I personally recommend that others avoid this business. If they dont clean up their location, theyll be gone by 2017 for sure.

This restaurant deserves no stars. I went there today on my lunch which is an hour. I got there at 6:10pm and didnt receive my order until 6:39pm. There were girls that were wearing no gloves or hair nets with long weaves in their heads. I watched the girl prepare my food. She touched the order screen with her gloves and her clothes and everything with the same gloves!!! Disgusting!! Also they were calling each other the "B" word and one girl even yelled at the manager . His name is Kanu. He totally cant control his staff and they were so unprofessional. I have no clue how they were even hired. This restaurant should be cleaned from top to bottom and all staff should be fired and a professional staff should be hired. I wikll NEVER go back there again.

The service is super slow, the place is dirty, there was only one guy working the drive-thru, everyone else was just standing around doing nothing, one guy was just on the phone having a conversation with someone instead of cleaning the place up or taking care of the customers that walked inside the store. They ran out of coke and instead of switching the syrup they forced everyone to get a different type of drink. I can understand if the place was super busy, but were talking about a place that only had two customers in line inside and one at the drive-thru. This was my first and last time at this place, the food is not even good here. Im never coming back.

The people where not "friendly." We order a spicy chicken sandwich and small fry deal. We did not get the fry. We asked for it. The manager said she didnt charge us for it, but shell give us one anyway. We ordered our meal its not our fault your cashier doesnt know what to do. We ordered the deal, they better give us the fry. And when we looked at the receipt we were over charged 30 cents for our chicken sandwhich. Made me not want to go back. Plus we had wait on the wings I dont know if thats normal. Too many fast food restaurants for me to go back to there.

My first visit to a Checkers. Took my daughter and grandsons here for lunch. They have a good variety of foods on their menu. Since this is my first visit I can not compare to other Checkers so this is a stand alone evaluation. The store was clean but seemed a bit dingy. Dont know how old the place is. The service was ok, but even though I explained to the order taker that this was my first visit to the chain, she seemed put out when I asked questions about menu items. Food was good and I will go back and try some other items in the future.

I went here about six months ago. Probably the most unhealthiest food you could eat (of which to be expected). Too unhealthy for my taste - more nutrition at McDonalds and I seldom go there. I felt guilty eating at this place (never dined inside, and from reading the reviews, proved to be the best choice). If you like GREASY burgers to the extreme this place is for you! One and done for me. IF its going to cost me quadruple bypass surgery to eat here, Id rather have it over eating a greasy pizza.

First and last time at checkers. Spent almost 10 minutes sitting in the drive thru without anyone to take my order. Then went inside and no one seemed to know what was going on. Person in front of me had been waiting over 20 min for his order and in the 15 min i waited in line the people in front of me still hadnt had their order taken. Always heard good things about their food, guess ill never find out with service like that.

I went inside to avoid the out side line and there was only three people working on a Sunday evening. This one lady was taking counter orders, drive thru orders, preparing the drinks and working the register. I thought no wonder the orders get messed up. One person doing too much and she was busy. The other two were cooking and making orders. Very busy and not enough help.

DISGUSTING! I stopped here because I was hungry and wanted a quick bite. Needless to say that I was still hungry after purchasing food. The slushy tasted like flat soda with koolaid sprinkled on it. The fries were soggy from the old grease it had to have been cooked in and the burger, ha!!! Never again.

I ordered a baconzilla combo.. Only came with mayo and cheese no bacon... The order taker had no idea what she was doing nor did the manager. We had recieved the wrong drinks at first and when things were all said and done the manager threw our fries in the bag crushing them with the sandwhiches

Ordered a double fish sandwich, restaurant was empty and this was pre-lunch rush. When I got my sandwich it was sloppily assembled and very messy. Perhaps it was my mistake for ordering a fish sandwich at a burger joint, will have to try a burger and re-evaluate them at that point.

Fries are usually terrible but this time both the fries and burger were cold and the fries were soggy too. Staff doesnt seem to be that knowledgable, quick or paying attention to what theyre doing. Tables are always dirty.

Stood at the front counter for 10 mins. After that lady said "Ill be right with you" 5 mins later and still no service. I walked out hungry and upset. Cant review the food since I didnt get to try any

Went to get food at 1115 they said they were closed. Pulled to side and they served 4 people let alone been calling and calling and they answer but put phone down. Dont trust thus place.

So rude taking my order and took so long. They were just talking back to the manager. Such a bad experience. Feel bad for the manager having to deal with those type of employees.
