I admit that I am in the minority who think this bar is highly overrated. The atmosphere is artificial, reminiscent of the fake "pubs" you find infested with frat boys in the city. Usual sports on TV. Lousy music. Lame, predictable beer selections (Fat Tire, anyone?). The service is very friendly, and the location is good. But why pay extra to hangout here? Good place if you absolutely have to drink in a bar that is clean, safe, and like someplace youve seen before. If you have a taste for better value and/or adventure, Berwyn has many, many alternatives.

Went here to get a drink with a friend and catch up. It was a little loud but it is a bar/pub and it was Friday night. The bartender was very friendly and the music selection was really good. They have a nice window in front so you can watch the trains go by. Ive been told they also have giant Jenga here. The atmosphere was very friendly and homey. No one bothered us, we actually even played a game of scrabble because my friend had brought it along. Ill definitely be back.

Not being but a block from my house, I find this pub to be relaxing with a very positive feel. All the staff are super friendly and the selection of drinks is immaculate, even having a full wine list. One of the owners, Chalky, goes out of his way to shake hands and have a laugh with ya. I recommend this pub to everyone.

Ive always had great service here, great Manhattans. Their bartenders know how to make classic drinks. They have a nice selection of whisky. Their atmosphere is very chill, the pub layout is neat. They also have box tracks to play.
