Yesterday at the Belleville Chili cook off I came in to the restaurant with my friends. I was going to buy a drink to go with my chili. I sat down for a second to set my chili down with one of my friends. Then a guy who looks to be the manager comes over to me and says aggressively, "You cant bring that in here! OUT NOW!" So I walk out. I didnt say anything to him. Yet, he gets in my face like that. The real thing that made me angry was that when I came in, there was an old lady who was eating a bowl of chili in a styrofoam cup just like I was. He didnt say a thing to her. I dont know what this managers problem was. My opinion is that he got in my face because Im a teenager. And he probably was tooscared to go to the old lady and do that to her. I know that some people think that all teens are going to talk back to you when you tell them something, but not everyone is the same. Note to that jerky manager: Im sure you were tired. I get it. But, that doesnt give you any right to be mean to me like that. I wouldnt be writing this review if you just kindly said, "We dont allow outside food. Please exit the restaurant." That is how you be courteous and kind. Have a heart, man.* *It was my birthday that day and the first time a restaurant worker did that to me.

Since bread co opened up I have been a customer. I usually buy sandwhiches soups pastries drinks. Now today I am informed they are moving closer to Lindenwood College. I know I will never go there I dont see any reason to drive over there. I think they are mislead thinking they will sell more. But students dont have that kind of money. The courthouse employees wont drive over there. They want some place they can walk to. Plus now just a mother empty business downtown mm

The Bread Co. in Belleville is...awesome! The workers are so friendly, and fast! You get great deals and nice warm food! You can sit inside the warm and cozy restaraunt or you can go to the back of bread co. and chill on cute little fancy tables outside. There is also free-wifi and they are open late night!

This locations drive-thru is not consistant. I have had to call three different times about my order either having missing items, missing ingredients or wrong size items. ALWAYS check your bag before you leave or you may be dissapointed.

This is my "go to" bread co/sandwich shop, but only out of convenience. If there were a better place closer to home, I would not come here. The service is typically poor and they are religiously out of certain ingredients.

I know this is a new establishment, but sometimes when I order food, its less than what I would expect from Panera. Sometimes food that should be thrown out is still used. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

This location on Main has a run down atmosphere. The bread was stale, the salad I order was wilted and the meat on my sandwich did not taste fresh. My husbands pasta was also rather dull and lacking.

Panera is a franchise on the decline. This is one of its original locations and its sad to see their ingredients and menu items not made with the care (and freshness) they once celebrated.
