Found this place online and came here with a group to watch the game. I knew they had just opened, so I was prepared to bring my patience. Overall, it was a good experience. The main dining, bar, and outdoor spaces are nice. Ample TVs for game days. And they have room to add more in the near future. Bathroom was clean and stocked. It didnt take us any time to get seated and they had no problem splitting checks. I admire the local beer list. Despite the learning that everyone is going through at the place, I figure Id call out a few major ones from our night: 1. Wheres the phone number? I get that it can be annoying and maybe distracting at times. But if Im looking at bringing a large party your way to watch the game, it wouldve been helpful for both of us to call ahead, right? I submitted the form on the website, but whats the turnaround time on that? 2. One of us didnt get our food. We assumed it was never entered, but the bill did have it when we were ready to go. Thats kind of a big breakdown in the system, right? 3. The amount swiped was not the amount of the check. Im not entirely clear on this one, but it sounded like the waitress wasnt the one running the card. She seemed to have recognized the mistake, but now you have to re-run the card and I have 2 holds on my account. I think this was a one-off mistake. If I could, heres a couple of tips to the team: 1. Im hoping the team gets more comfortable being on the floor. I felt like the "safe" place for new service industry workers is out of sight of their guests, but youll have no idea whats going on if you dont keep an eye on us. There were times where we waited 10-15 mins to order another drink. (Its game day and were winning...we want to keep me coming) Or to bring up that something was up with the check. If we can see you, you can see us and well feel the love. 2. I like the menu. I would recommend pointing out the vegetarian/GF items. And as a personal note, those Sysco/Gardenburger veggie burgers are a disappointment. You guys did a great job with the menu, but then you stuck a grilled Gardenburger in it. That guac veggie burger wasnt terrible, but it wouldve been 100% better if you had a housemade veggie patty. I can see this place doing well as a neighborhood tavern. A friendly and attentive staff is the key, I think even more so than the food. Looking forward to the next visit, best of luck!

The hostess had the personality of a cardboard box to start with, she looked miserable, no smile no greeting. The roof patio is not open for lunch despite amazing weather. I ordered the hummus to start. The Hummus was $8.00 and it was about half a cup of hummus. Things only got worse. I ordered a Cobb salad and added chicken Total about $11.00, not too bad right? Well they forgot the bacon and avacado. When I mentioned it to the waitress (Breeyan) she says, "It doesnt surprise me, he said he didnt know how to make a Cobb." (referring to the cook I assume) She returns shortly after and brings me what was missed. Keeps getting worse the avacado wasnt edible, it was as hard as an uncooked potato. I took it off my plate and settled for my meal as is. When she returns I mention the avacado wasnt ripe and that may be why the cook left it off. She says , "no he just doesnt know how to make salads." I was charged full price and received no apology. Unreal. I read the reviews before going and thought I would give it a shot despite the bad reviews because it was a new place and kinks still have to be worked out. I wish I hadnt took the gamble, my visit was a bad experience and I will not be back. Much better options in the Smyrna Vinings area. By the way the management overall is to blame for hiring the staff they have without simple skills need for a server or restaurant staff. FYI management the Hostess is the first impression your clientele receives, having someone that doesnt smile and seems to be angry is not very wise. You should also make sure your staff is not blaming each other for mistakes but rather apologizing and doing all they can to make it right.

Its a nice location, nice -- very friendly staff ( only thing it really has going for it ), decent food ( not great but not horrible ); however, the reason this place gets a single star is due to its shenanigans with draft beer. I should of known better -- being served a nitros pour of drafty kilt in a plastic cup. The plastic cups are 14oz servings. Their bar glasses are also 14oz servings. This was proved as I asked my bartender to pour the contents of a full 14oz plastic cup ( labeled on the bottom of the cup ) into their bar glasses -- and it filled it up to the rim. The extra glass on the bottom of the glasses makes it obvious you are not getting a 16oz pour. What does this matter you ask? Well, on the receipt you are charged for a 16oz pour. It clearly states it on the receipt; however, you are only getting 14oz of booze. So, this establishment is ripping off their customers -- they really need to state you are only getting a 14oz pour on both the menus and the receipts. SHAME ON THEM!! Do not give this company any more of your money -- they are only interested in taking advantage of you. I took my receipt to the manager on duty and asked him to explain why I was getting charged for 16oz of beer but only being provided 14oz of product. It was like talking to a deer stuck in head lights -- pathetic. They did not dispute the facts -- good on them -- but they clearly have no understanding of the practices taking place at this establishment.

Its Friday night at 10pm friends flight just got in where to go for a few beers and quick bite? Lets try the new Tavern with the rooftop patio. Its right across the street from where I live. They have a decent draft selection. We sat at a table on the rooftop patio. Lots of nice large TVs everywhere with all the games on. Our server was polite, attentive and welcoming. Food did take a while to get delivered but our drinks came out in timely fashion so I was fine waiting. A very attractive and polite manager came around to the tables to see how we were and to let us know the kitchen was backed up from being slammed earlier. We werent in a rush and as long as my food was prepared properly I was fine and happy he let us know. I had a Cobb salad that was very good and well prepared. We shared a chicken quesadilla (good flavor) for our app while having some beers. My friends got some wings and one of the burgers. This place is going to be a real gem once they get all the kinks worked out. I cant wait to catch some Monday night football there this season.

First visit, Atmosphere: Bar is very beautiful as the whole shopping center is new itself. I initially wanted to eat her after seeing the Rooftop viewing from the road, however the father went it was a little too cold to be out. So I will be back for that. Overall the tavern is very nice Staff & Service The staff were very friendly and quick with taking our orders. We had 20 Teriyaki wings and the queso dip. The chips for the Queso were a little salty absinthe Queso could have used some spinach or maybe even hints of meat or something. It was bland. The wings could either use some breading or more sauce, because the sauce was actually good. Maybe cook the wings longer, definitely work on the wing recipe. Overall: I like the place itself. Nice place to possible host a small event if you can work with the cook. I would and plan on having a second visit.
