Have eaten here over 20 times, always has been great, and good service.....fresh and delicious, I have even taken them Eggplants that I grow, because I love the eggplant dish, I went tonight, and waited 1 hr and 20 minutes for the meal, and they messed up the order, they kept saying we are so busy and sorry for the wait. ...they had 4 tables in the restaurant, the service has really gone down hill, I paid my bill and I want go back

Ive gone a few times now and every time Ive enjoyed what I have ordered. The food is high quality and felt prepared for me. That being said the wait has been longer than what I am use to, usually this is enough to keep me away but they win me over with the food each visit and make me forget the pain of my impatience. If you want what is probably the best Asian food around and arent in a rush then I suggest giving them a try.

Service can be hit or miss, but Wok Star has the only worthwhile Chinese in the area. Ignore the ill-advised attempts to appeal to an Anglo clientele and order off the Cantonese menu. You will often see UGA International Grad students here getting a taste of home. When my wife and I want Chinese, we make the 30 minute drive to Winterville, passing four other lesser possibilities on the way.

I absolutely LOVE the antique shop attached to the restaurant. I buy something nearly every time we go eat. But the food there is what brings me back, over and over again. Sometimes more than once a week! Their food is fresh and is always over the top good and the service is awesome! I have several Asian friends who say they will not eat anywhere else, their food is the BEST!!

I agree with other reviewers who said that this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant near Athens area. It really is. Just remember to ask for the Chinese manu. Dont worry the Chinese manu also comes with English translation. And some misspelling. You know a Chinese restaurant must be the real thing when you see misspelled English translation on their manu, right?

This place is amazing and needs to be the sorta place that is supported. Their food is amazing, had lunch there today and it is easily the best food in the area with no disrespect to our other fine Chinese Restaurants. The owner was super nice and inviting and I just cant get over how good the food was.

Excellent Chinese food with both American and authentic versions. We had American sesame chicken and Chinese Kung Pao chicken. The flavors on the Chinese version were amazing. Not terribly impressive decor and limited staff, but Id come back time and again for food this good.

We eat at Wok Star a lot. The food is always great! The asian food is wonderful, but so are the hamburgers! The portions are LARGE. Great value for the price.... Be sure to try some of the items that might seem a little more unusual, you wont be sorry!

I stop going here because of the slow service. ..I decided to give them another chance since we live really close to this place and again after being there for over 20 mins waiting on a cup of steamed rice I walked out .

We have only ordered delivery from here and it was awful. The restaurant is an 8 minute drive from our home. The delivery driver took 1 1/2 hours to arrive with half of our order. We will not order from here again.
