Good food but the staff barely speaks english and when they fail to understand they are very rude. Just placed a call and asked them to help me pick their most popular dish to order and the woman on the phone 1 - couldnt identify properly whether I was a man or a woman (I clearly have a very high pitched girly voice) 2 - was very rude, and seemed like she knew absolutely nothing about her restaurants food. 3 - Hung up on me as I was attempting to ask her which dish would fit my taste buds the best. Oerall, food is very good, but the staff is a definite turn off from the restaurant.

First person was seated at 17:54. It is 19:22, which is well over an hour. Our table of 4 didnt get water until 30 minutes in. Appetizer order was not delivered 40 minutes after being ordered; those is unacceptable. I wonder when the main dishes will be served. Theyll have to be good to raise this review to 2 stars. Answer: food served at 19:41. Mediocre at best. Small serving sizes. Not good enough to raise to 2 stars. Constructive feedback: if understaffed, customers should be warned or given a time estimate. I used to work at a Thai restaurant.

I go to restaurants because I love good, authentic food. Siri Thai had great food at a reasonable price. I took my girlfriend here for a nice dinner. We had an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $30. Everything tasted great. The service could have been a little better. Our appetizer came extremely late, and it took some time to get our drinks refilled. I did only see two people working though. Overall, it was a classy place with a small but friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. Ill be back.

I have business in Athens on infrequent occasions, but, business aside, I am willing to drive the 90 miles from my home in Blairsville to this restaurant, to get a great meal. The menu is varied, the food is consistently fine, certainly the best Thai food in Athens. Service is always what you would expect in a really great little restaurant. I am not a person "with family," but is is always good to see families with children thoroughly enjoying the dining experience.

I miss this restaurant. My husband and I now live in a small town in Kentucky, where there is no authentic Thai food. We miss this restaurant so, so, so much. We talk about their unique, unsweet, unamericanized, healty and delicious foods all the time. We miss the people working there. They were very professional and very friendly people.

I love Siri Thai so much that I daydream of their Goon ka ba appetizers and the Pad Grow Prow Beef dinner. Not to mention the Chicken Phad Thai. FYI: I now live in NYC, and I still cant find Thai food that holds a candle to this fine southern diamond in the rough.

Ive been eating here for years, and I could honestly eat here every day. I ALWAYS get the Pad Khing and its spot on every single time. The consistent quality of the meals here is something other restaurants should take note of. Such a gem for the east side of Athens.

, very nice Thai restaurant just a couple blocks from my hotel. Very convenient for downtown Athens. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was very authentic. Spice levels range a little higher than you would suspect but not too bad. Will definitely be back

I dont know what happened to this place. Food use to be excellent a year ago. Ive given them two chances in the past few months and was disappointed both times due to the flavor and tiny portions compared to the price. I wont be returning.

For $10 a plate I sure didnt get a lot of food. My fried egg was burned. It wasnt spicy at all. The noodles were rubbery. The food was dry. And some of my shrimp wasnt deveined. Me and my boyfriend will never order food from here again.

We entered at lunchtime. No one responded. I found silverware and menus. After several minutes someone came and took out only water drunk order. He brought us water and then did not return. We waited at least ten minutes. We then left.

I have a wonderful experience even though I only dine in once but it was priceless!!! Ive been looking all over Athens and can find it and now I know the name I cant wait to go back and order my favorite curry and Thai tea

Siri Thai is the best Thai food Ive ever had. Everyone is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and fantastic-ness of the food. If youre in the Athens area, give it a shot!

Excellent Food and the time spent waiting is more than worth it!! I always get 1 and a half order of Chicken Pad Thai and Extra Hot sauce. Lots of water and sometimes dessert. 2 thumbs up!

I placed an over the phone order and the woman misheard me. When I went to pick it up they made my order and she only charged me half. Luckily I was in no hurry but the staff was very nice.

While the food quality is pretty good when its right, my take-out order has been wrong 3 times in a row. Ill drive a few minutes further to Thai Spoon to make sure I get what I order.
