Unexpectedly a great find! We were looking for your typical fast food place but passed this little gem and decided to give it a go. Very glad we stopped! The people were very friendly and tye food was excellent! Reminded me of my grandmas cooking. Hubby had country fried steak with veggies and i had pulled pork bbq with cobbler, mac & cheese bites, & black eyed peas (and we shared sampled each others). They were delicious. We definitely recommend the country fried steak! And we were pleasantly surprised how fast we got our food! :)

We love to local places like this while traveling, and we were happy with how small and "charming" the place was. Went inside and enjoyed the randomness of the decor. Friendly waitress (only one), simple menu. We were excited to see the BBQ smoker out back and both decided to try the BBQ sandwich and Mac and cheese bites. The bbq was good, sandwich a bit small, served on a McDs type bun, but toasted. All in all, decent, but pretty average, cost $20 for 2 of us. The special platters looked good.

We had a ridiculous experience here. We walked in and were sat down. And then the waitress ( the only person working here besides a cook on a Saturday?!?) Rang up customers and took people food and talked to people and then took the order of people that just walked in the door because she knew them. After 20+ mins of being ignored she walks over and asks if we still want to order. We left! No order, no food. Never been treated this way in a restaurant. Never going back!

Great food and great service. I ordered the fried catfish. I do not know how you can make it any better. Good size portions. My wife ordered a chicken special. She raved about how good it was. Then my wife noticed some pictures on the wall of Selene Gomez. The waitress informed us that they filmed a portion of a movie at this Restaurant. What great publicity for this small off the beaten path Restaurant. I would recommend this to a friend.

The food was awesome. But city of white police are awful. They make millions on the hard workers at toyo. Also they pray on the uneducated. Make money of out of Towners. With the old speed limit drastic drop.... The wursed I tell you. Blaming the wrong people for things. The food in white is great just walk there dont drive lol.

the first time my husband and I went there it was for lunch , by the outside I was a bit nervous , the inside I was a bit more nervous , The server came very nice girl we placed an order we had pork chops , green beans , peach cobbler , Texas toast and it was AWESOME!!!!! Large portions , had a great experience!!

Nice little hole in the wall landmark in White, Ga. Featured in a Netflix movie, this place is worth the drive. Southern cooking at it finest, with a meat and three option. The burger was great and the tea is Southern. They take credit cards and this place should be on your places to visit before you die.

Being truck drivers my husband and I love the down home cooking. We eat here whenever we can and everything is always very good. The Brunswick stew is the best Ive ever had !! The servers are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere the best !! Very reasonable priced.

I am a truck driver therefore good meals are hard to come by. The staff was extremely friendly and a tentative food is prepared quickly and accurately and the next time that I am in Cartersville with my job I know where Im going to eat. 10 Stars if I had the option

Had a great lunch!! Happened to stumble across this place driving from TN. We saw it turned around and went in. It has rustic charm. We had high hopes and no one in my party was disappointed. Good tea, awesome fried green tomatoes and definitely try the cornbread.

Stopped in had pot roast okra and peas all were good service was outstanding sweet tea was as expected sweet and strong which I like did not have desert was late on my trip already so I will return next trip through and would recommend to all who pass

Dropped in with a group of 16, but they handled us well. Had greens, okra, fried green tomatoes, and cherry cobbler. All were delicious. If you want Cracker Barrel-type food, but in a genuine, non-chain place, this is it. Will definitely come back.

Breakfast is killer, no lie. Hamburgers are so MOIST. The bathroom is wicked (use at your own risk). I eat here for the food. Been eating here for about 15 years.
