The food is outstanding and priced right. The atmosphere is great and the service is awesome. Excellent southern home cooking with no MSG added to the food. Not only is this the only buffet that I can eat due to the MSG reaction I suffer from, it is the best Ive ever had. Ive read the negative reviews written by others and have determined that they are from typical yankees that can never be pleased unless Ole Times served only baked casseroles. They obviously dont know what quality southern cooking is. Keep up the good work Ole Times Country Buffet. My family and I will continue making the four hour round trip.

This is good home cooking. If you like southern foods cooked southern style this place is awesome. If you are looking for health food this is not your place to go. If you need ambiance and exquisite decor you will want to avoid going here. If you like old school country atmosphere where you can pick your teeth after you eat and the occasional belch kept low is welcomed then you will feel at home. Mamma always said to let it out but keep it down if you know what I mean.

They had a lot of great looking for. It was expensive for a family of eight especially when my son and hubby found hair in their food. I was disgusted. We had been at Wild Adventures all day and were all starving and needed a place to eat and get full. Needless to say we left after finding the hair in their food and wont ever be returning. We ended up making sandwiches out the cooler.I would not recommend this place at all.

A nice stopover on the way to and from Orlando Florida. I was so pleasantly surprised. At first it just seems unlike most other buffet restaurants but the food is really good. They had the best fried Okra that I have ever had. The other food was very good too. The staff were diligent about clearing up plates. The area looked very clean. I will stop here any time I am nearby.

Overpriced and bland food. Its a mixture of a Ryans and the dessert bar will remind you of the one in a Chinese restaurant that opened in a closed down Shoneys. Its name leads you to think its country or home cooking. This food came from a #10 can at Sams and was heated in a microwave. Really disappointed. Nothing fresh all from a can including fruits.

Actual price of meals was $3.00 more than listed on website spoke with manager about it, she said that was supposed to be changed years ago and did not offer to honor price listed on web. Fried Chicken was only filled up with wings until we asked manager about it then they put out a mixture. We wont be going back. Cracker Barrell is just next door!

Our family visits every time we come to the area. Sorry for those of you who had a bad experience not whoever said they dont have a variety is CRAZY!!!! Collard greens, turnip greens, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, baked chicken, salad bar, all types of seafood, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes omg etc and its the bomb

Food is okay, a bit greasy. Everything served is classic southern dishes. Felt a bit queasy after eating here. I probably wont return, most of the people that eat here are retirement/advanced aged, which means very slow moving people with walkers or old guys standing in the middle of line just chatting.

I love eating at this place,sometimes I want love food and Ole times is where I vo. I also want to suggest that putting what you serve each day on your wed page will bring more biz. Sometimes I have tried to catch seafood note and I miss it all the time. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the live food.

On the,positive side,the waitress was very attentive. The fried shrimp and baked beans were tasty. Nothing else was to our liking. We hate to waste food but everything else we sampled , we chose not to finish. I normally only write positive reviews but I want to save other people from this place.

The food was good but most of the employees were rude. My younger brother accidentally walked into an employee and he repeatedly apologized but the employee shock his head, glared then walked off grunting. The same man also screamed at a younger girl as well for asking where to find something.

The place was dirty and the food selection was minimal. The food wasnt very good. The fried chicken and mash potato was good. Other foods tasted like they pour sugar all over it. The meat loaf should be changed to sugar loaf. Will not be returning.

Very great food. Never been so humid in my life tho. Although to be fair, the waitress accommodated us by turning on a ceiling fan and even hooked us up with a plug outlet. Didnt do much tho. Great service, good food, not so great temperature wise.

Very poor food and the floors are dirty and torn up. Food selection was marginal, not very hot and generally inferior. Actually, Ryans is better if you can imagine that. Will never waste money there again.

There are some great buffets in Valdosta , GA. This is not one of them. The food is disgusting. For the price, I would expect a lot more. If you try it, you will regret it.

Went on a Friday for seafood but it was very little seafood on fish, small fried shrimp they charge you seafood prices then majority of the food bar should be seafood
