The quality of Mexican restaurants vary greatly in this area. La Parilla is the standard, and all the others try to keep up. Well, I went back for the second time last night. The first time I liked the place and could deal with the servers disappearance near the end of the meal, but my second visit to the place, last night, was a nightmare. Our server disappeared again (this time right after he brought the chips) and we were finally able to flag him down...45 minutes later. The cheese dip was and food were luke warm, and it took him several trips to bring out the whole meal, which when we finally had all of it, we were just annoyed. My food was not very good. The first time we went, it was good, but last night it just wasnt very good. Then the next morning, just like the first time we went there, I felt awful and spent some time in the bathroom as the food made its way out. Wont be going back. Sticking with La Parilla from now on.

There should not be enough grease in a single beef taco to fill the bottom of the plate. the house salsa needs improvement (taste and looks like ketchup with a few spices). waiter did not understand salsa verde (tomatillo salsa), nor pequin salsa (or they do not offer it). The best thing that was the refried beans (and they were canned). The beef taco was full of grease, the chili relleno had burnt cheddar cheese on it and was nothing but a small sliver of a chili underneath, no beef, no white cheese. the Tostada was nothing more than a flat taco shell with a small spoon full of beans covered by lettuce and Guacamole sauce.

Best Mexican Food in Newnan. Great lunch prices, excellent food, fast delivery to your table. This is and has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years. It is rare that I have had an experience at el Charro that was not up to par. If you go and you dont enjoy it, please dont judge them by that. I have had a couple instances where the food wasnt that great, but they are 99.9% delicious. P.S. MC8 is a tard. The staff is very friendly and polite. Keep in mind these are Spanish people. If you want authentic food, you need authentic Mexicans.

I will never return to El Charro on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan Georgia ever again. I ordered my food and it literally talk 53 minutes for my dinner to come to the table while everyone else got served 10 minutes or less after ordering. The server was more concerned with talking with other servers rather than taking care of customers. When I confronted him he got very smart mouthed. I would advise no one to go to El Charro Mexican restaurant on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan Georgia

Definitely our favorite Mexican in Newnan. My wife and I are very picky about mexican, but always seem to like this place. Theres not a ton of flair here, just good, solid mexican food. The prices are really good and the food is consistently the same every time. We really like the chips and salsa as well.

The food is always good but the serving size could be better. The servers have always been attentive and I have never had a long wait on my meal. Ive been to many Mexican restaurants in Newnan and I find myself coming back to this one.

I have always had a nice experience at El Charro. To Adelphichic: I would be confused too if someone told me that they wanted cheese. Queso Dip or Salsa de Queso would not confuse me.
