Hands down, this place is EXCELLENT. Stop reading this review, get in your car, and just go. You wont be disappointed. The atmosphere is laid back, family friendly, and welcoming. The staff have always been extremely friendly and competent... Im talking completely on top of their game. Even on a Friday night, when crowds are at a peak, the service is never rushed, and the servers are usually very knowledgeable about the food as well as the brews being served. They are always happy to make a suggestion if you just cant decide what to order (because it all sounds so good!). Speaking of the food and beer, the menu isnt huge (its not small, either) but it doesnt need to be. The menu items are diverse enough to have good old standby items, but gets REALLY creative and has multiple items that are as intriguing as they are delicious. From items like the Pickle Tickle or the Greasy Peach, theres something to fulfill your adventurous side. The same is true for the beer menu. They have good old staple brews, but also have an ever changing menu of craft beers, too. Like the food menu, the list isnt huge (nor small), but it doesnt need to be. Dallas Public House has crafted a beer and food menu thats rock solid without being over overwhelming... they know what theyre doing, and do it well. All in all, if you want a classic pub experience, or something a bit more exciting, in a perfect atmosphere to chill out with good friends and family, have some good food and throw back a few pints, Dallas Public House fits the bill in every way. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

This is our 1st visit to this location after the latest rename, ownership change. They retained the pizza ovens too. The building is still nice, great style of a bar with a booth seating area for families, and open ducts flow along the ceiling creating a large feeling in the space. The service was excellent. They ladies were on the spot and didnt miss a thing. We started off with chips, queso, and salsa. Good flavor, not over spiced. Chili has a good flavor, plenty of beef, and also not over spiced. I tried their signature sandwich, The Greasy Peach. The name sounds funny but the sandwich was excellent. Chicken breast hammered thin, coated with Cap-n-Crunch with batter, then cooked. This mixture sealed in the juice of the chicken, not dry at all. They add a blue cheese dill sauce and BBQ sauce. This combination creates a tasty flavor. This sandwich is a must try! The meatball sub was good. Only suggestion is to toast the roll long as the sauce made it a soggy mess. They serve tots or fries with their sandwiches and I suggest the tots. They were serves crispy...nicely done. Even though this was lunch, I did notice they run happy hour specials to include .60 cent wings. Also, I didnt try the pizza but they sell it by the slice so next time, beer, wings and a slice. Driving note. Its even easier to get there now that the Seven Hills Connector is open. Smooth sailing.

prior to tonight Ive had nothing but incredible experiences but what happened tonight threw a wrench in that. we arrive, knowing we would be waiting, at 7:45. The hostess staff ask how many in are party, 10, she rolled her eyes and copped an attitude. We asked how long the wait and she responds "I dont know its gonna be like 45-Hour".. no biggie so we wait and check on it about 30 minutes in to see if it had changed and shes like like 45- hour still.. so we waited... 9:15 we go to the back to the restroom and see not 1 but 2 tables clearing & cleared out so we go and ask and in a rude tone we are told there is still a wait so we ask about the tables in the back and with an eye roll she said shes check on it. after getting seated we have our drink order taken and some drinks come out not all and and then the food takes another 30-45 to cook and most wasnt even right. the waitress cant control food cook time or drink preparations and she was actually for the most part delightful had the host staff been nicer or with a more welcoming attitude I believe I would have had a more pleasant evening but when you are greeted in an almost hateful attitude it kind of puts you in one for the whole stay.

Sub-par sports bar on the decline. They have a pretty decent happy hour, though the beer selection is quite limited. A few items on the menu are particularly good, such as the King Burger and the Capn Crunch chicken fingers. I was a regular for a while because of the relatively cheap prices and some of the friendly patrons and employees that (used to) go or work there, but stopped going because I refuse to support any business with shady and unfair employment practices. A word to the wise though, if you have any complaints about your meal or anything else, keep them to yourself if you plan on going back. I recently stopped by, albeit hesitantly, to say hello to some friends who were in the neighborhood and the manager/owner/whatever threw me out and told me not to come back because I wrote a negative (and frankly, generous at 2/5 stars at the time) review on Yelp (Shout out to you, Pete!). Any restaurant which answers criticism with bans should certainly be suspect when youre considering where to go for some grub, Especially when you have two superior competitors, The Owners Box and Pizza Shack literally less than a mile down the road.

By the way, the previous review with the person that expected to be seated fast with 10 people on a busy night is a moron. I bet she was giving everyone an attitude the whole time about it too. Some restaurants won’t even accommodate you showing up with a large party un-announced and expect the staff to kick everyone out and put you ahead of everyone. You usually make reservations for a party that size. I hope they dont come back because I dont want them stressing out the staff when they are doing such a great job. Maybe, if you want to be seated fast with 10 people, you should go to McDonalds. I for one enjoy this place because its way better than Taco Mac. It doesn’t have all the beers they do, but it also doesn’t sound like a roaring crowd with kids running around bumping into your table and spilling your drinks and not even saying sorry. That is why this place is #1 in my restaurant picks. Keep up the great work and I’ll see you guys tonight! PS: There should be a no kid’s night at every restaurant because I always get seated next to a screaming baby or obnoxious kids. #Tiredofit

The very best burgers in town. I am glad to see someone who owns and operates his own business. The quality of food is 2nd to none. The people who work here really enjoy their jobs.. I have seen lots of business come and go from this location but i think this is gonna be the one that stays. If you live close by and have not ate here yet.. go try it. If we as a community do not support our local restaurants and ownership then they too will eventually be closed.. we all need to make sure that we support and frequently visit this place.. Amazingly great burgers and drinks.. live music Friday and Saturday night. . Excellent quality in every way. Patrick Idol
