I went to Fridays last night (9.19.2016) at 10:00 pm. On weekdays they close at 12:00 midnight. Upon approaching our table, my server immediately let me know that "this is going to go quickly because we close in like 45 minutes." I am a server myself so I know the struggle of getting seated within the last hour that your restaurant is opened. BUT it was 10:00…Friday’s doesn’t close until 12. My server made me feel uncomfortable and rushed me to make drink and menu selections. She stood over the table, tapping her writing pad as my friend and I rushed to make our decisions. I’ll mark that as Strike One…. Once we ordered our drinks, it took about 15 minutes for them to arrive. The bar area wasn’t too busy, and there may have been about 5 or 6 other tables in the restaurant. But I watched as the bartender talked with the other servers and guests, checked her cell phone numerous times…and waited until I asked my server to remind her about our drinks. Strike Two…. We finally got our drinks—Strawberry Hennessey Margaritas. Our drinks were well-made and tasty. That was a major plus. And shortly afterwards, we got our food. The food looked appealing, smelled delicious, and tasted amazing. We ordered apps –boneless wings, pretzels, mozzarella sticks, and a new menu item: Spicy Sirracha Shrimp Rolls (BEST APP ON THE MENU). Things were finally beginning to look up until I spotted a HUGE BLACK COCKROACH scurry across the booth chair behind my friend and onto the partition that separated our table from the next!!!!! No exaggeration, this roach was about 2 inches long! It crawled over the partition and onto the floor behind us headed towards another table where a couple was seated. Moments later the couple is backing away from their table. That couple said the roach was a FLYING BUG and it landed on their table!!!!!! When my server came back to check on us—we were standing by this time and fully disgusted, our food was half-eaten and drinks were half-full. She seemed really nonchalant about the whole situation. When I asked about her manager, she said she let him know. She informed us that the manager “had been trying to get Orkin out here for a while now.” ---- THAT TELLS ME THAT BUG PROBLEM HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR A WHILE. She also said her manager didn’t want to come out to speak to us. After all that, we STILL paid full price for our meal ---THAT WE DIDN’T GET A CHANCE TO FINISH EATING. No manager apologized to us. I’ll NEVER eat there again.

After a 25 min. wait, we placed our drink and food order with a waitress named Shante, in which it took 23 mins for her to bring us just a glass of water and sweet tea. When I asked her if it really took that long just to bring us water and sweet tea, she stated the tea had to be made? She never once apologized for the wait, just continued to walk back and forth. Once the food arrived, which was 27 mins later, my order was incorrect--I ordered a half portion of the Cajun-Chicken pasta, and I asked for NO shrimp (due to allergies, I do not eat seafood), so I sent it back asking for it to be re-made. Since, Shante did not bring out our food, she came over to ask what was wrong about my order as if "she was offended. I advised her that the pasta had shrimp in it and I asked for chicken pasta only. I asked to speak with a manager and Quay stated he was a manager-- I then advised him of how poorly this young lady behaved as our server and failed to provide any type of customer service. Quay had the entree re-made and sent over another waitress, DaVaria, per my request. DaVaria was very apologetic. I left this Stonecrest location at 10:37pm, after being there for over an 1 hour & 37 mins--and I STILL HADNT EATEN. I was so livid, disappointed, and upset that when my food was finally ready, I asked for it to be packaged up, so I could leave. This young ladys failure to provide good customer service ruined my dinner experience with my children, whom which I was dining with tonight. I IMPLORE you to get this young lady some help and training. She was so utterly rude that I do not plan on returning to this location, ever. Quay tried to compensate by reducing my bill, but that is not my concern. The real issue here is to ensure that another customer doesnt have to endure what I went through from anyone at this location, simply because it was a "busy" night. I hate this is where I chose to spend my hard earned money only to be treated as if my money and service didnt matter.

Horrible! Went at 2:15 and they had 4 servers and only a few people but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Then 20 minutes for server to even acknowledge us. Then server had appetizer brought out 20 minutes later by someone else and we asked for refills and I asked for a different drink it tasted soapy the peach mango slush. Then asked again when she brought out kids meal 15 minutes later. 2 kids meals were cold and without the melted requested cheese. Now 1 HR and half later we ask for manager and prepare to leave because I good had not arrived yet and she brought the food out. All the entire time we are still waiting for refills and the table was stacked with appetizer dishes. Over 1.5 hours in she brought our food main dish with the salads and soup. Salads had two inches of water at the bottom of bowel under lettuce. We never saw the requested manager. At end of service we received an apology from server and refill to go. I think it was tainted because I was fine until I had some and then stomach started hurting and got dizzy and light headed. Threw up and had to go to bathroom rest of evening.

DONT EVER go to this TGIF. My family went there on 08/29 for a birthday dinner for my twins. Even though I called ahead and was told by an employee that we could be put on a wait list when we arrived at 8:00 we learned that we were "misinformed". We decided to wait because we had 12 people. After waiting 1-1/2 hours we were finally shown to a table. After waiting 30 minutes we were finally brought out watery drinks. After waiting an hour we still didnt have food. When we asked to see a manager he sent out an underling. As we were walking out the door because we refused to wait any longer the manager for the night finally emerged. Was he concerned that we were having a horrible night at his restaurant, did he get me the number for his boss. The answer to both of these questions is NO. Instead he accused us of "just sitting" ourselves even though we were shown to a table by a waitress. He showed no interest in anything that we were saying and just walked off. This is the WORST service that I have ever had in my LIFE. I will never eat at another TGIF EVER.

So my experience at this TGI Friday was not a good one. I came in on a hot day sat at the bar and, the bartender was working the bar and serving the floor at the same time. I dont think they had enough Staffing she of course was overwhelmed had an attitude, was very short, and I really felt like walking out of there because the service is terrible and its all Managements fault! I decided to stay because a girlfriend who was hungry and she wanted to work it out as she felt empathetic for the bartender. So it was just a horrible experience altogether. I really hate going to places where Im supposed to be served and it takes more than 15 minutes to get me a glass of water... I really hoped that since this is in a black community that the service would have been better. The service is only going to be as good as the managers allow. This location was terribly understaffed... Now I will say that the food was quite exquisite... Nevertheless because of the service and the service alone and thats managemented by poor management, I will never go back to that place again.
