I went in to place an order to go and was given a menu. The guy who gave me the menu walked off as soon as he gave me the menu. When I was ready to order he was nowhere to be found. I went to the back where he walked and yelled hello a few times no one answered. I could hear noise in the back so I knew more than one person was there. I used my cell phone to call to maybe grab someones attention that way to no avail. I went to try one more time calling out hello for someone. After 10 minutes of waiting and trying to order I left. I am new to the area and looked up this place which had good reviews but sadly I will not be going back because of this night.

OK I tried going there yesterday and it was a disaster. I never got my food and ended up walking out. Today something told me to try again so I ordered early. I went there and told them what happen yesterday and they explained that they had a new worker who walked off the job and it was chaotic. Understandable. When I got there today my food was hot and ready. Boy it was delishous. Glad I gave a second chance. The food is excellent.

Wed been going to Thai Lotus Restaurant in Lawrenceville, GA since it opened. In the last year the restaurant changed owners. I have to say, (Chef) Sandy and husband Andrew 1) have brought new life to the restaurant, and 2) Most importantly the food is wonderful. The food/entre portions were just right (and I took some home). Oh Yes! - - - - and Sandy has brought back the Coconut Custard! Leave room for it!

Very poor experience. I had to wait a long time before I was seated. I waited a very long time for my meal. The food was very poor quality. I didnt finish it, and I always finish my lunch. Then they tried to over charge me! I refused to pay more than what was stated on the menu, but I had to argue the point repeatedly. Do not go to this poorly run, bad quality restaurant (in my opinion only of course).

Not nearly as good as it used to be. The Larb is still very good but Ive always ordered Panang at any Thai place I go. It used to be consistently excellent, then only good at dinner, and now its just a bland excuse. I wish they were back to their old selves. Traffic seems to be much lighter now than it used to be so it appears Im not the only one with this opinion.

after a trip to Thailand in February, I am constantly looking to try new Thai restaurants in the US.... and this place was true to the people of Thailand... excellent service with a smile and food that is second to none. Chef Sandy even took the time to help my wife and I figure out how to perfect our Thai bubble tea at home. Go there.. you wont regret it

Always great service, and the food is delicious! The place has been around for 18 years, and my mom would often have lunch there when I was little. I highly recommend the crispy duck with basil sauce as well as the coconut soup. If you are a coffee lover, the Thai coffee is a must! Go give it a try, you may end up with a new favorite spot. :)

Last night I met a friend for dinner. Although the restaurant was VERY busy, the service was wonderfully attentive. We both actually ordered the same dish...the Soft Shell Crab in a green curry sauce. It was OUTSTANDING !! I love Thai food and have eaten Thai all over the country...Thai Lotus stands out as one of the best !!

I come to Lawrenceville for work quite frequently, and eat at Thai Lotus whenever I get the chance. It is the best Thai food I have found anywhere (especially the Basil Pork dish, and, if you are in the mood for a really good dessert, the coconut cake.). I actually miss this place and the food when I go back home.

The restaurant is decorated nicely and very cozy. The wait staff is also friendly. The food is very pricy for the location and the small amount that you get. This is not like a Thai restaurant at all. They usually give really nice portion sizes. I had the eggplant entree. Disappointing. I wont be returning.

Awesome I had the lamb it was terrific, plus the coconut cake was the bomb.. I would recommend anyone to go here. They even gave my mom a rose for mothers day. Best people I ever meet.. I wish the owners and the employee the best great people, great food.. Mom said thanks for the rose..

having travelled to Bangkok and living in the San Francisco bay area, this is really tasty Thai. In the spirit of full disclosure, the owner is my bro-in-law, but i can say that he works diligently to get the best ingredients for the dishes. The coconut cake is to die for.

Beat Thai food Ive had in a long time! The cheese rolls were to die for! Had the lamb and garlic chicken. Cant wait to try some scallops and the coconut cake next time! Great service and the chef even came out to greet us as first time customers. Excellent experience!

First visit and impressed. Very clean, great service and delicious food! I had the Pad King Chicken and it was a large serving of Chicken and fresh vegetables. I ended the meal with Custard Sticky Rice which was divine!! Ill be back to try more entrees!

I come here frequently since I live only a mile away. I like to eat in or carry out and definitely enjoy the food. Basil chicken linguine is my favorite. You really cant go wrong with this place. Price is reasonable and commensurate with the quality.

Food was great but the the portion and amount of seafood in each entree was skimpy. 3 shrimp on a shrimp entree ? Again the food is tasty but value could be improved.

Great curry. Friendly service. Quiet atmosphere. The African american lady working/helping there is a tad too bubbly and is kind of out of place in the restaurants setting.
