This place has no right to call itself a business. I read the amazing reviews and wanted to try a new Chinese place, so I decided to give it a try! I called at 9:30 to place easy an order for delivery. It took the lady 10 minutes to get my address right because she couldnt understand English. After I placed my order and she took my card information, it was 9:40, and she proceeded to rudely tell me that "since they close in 10 minutes (which was actually 20), she wanted to know how much I was going to tip the driver because if it wasnt a suitable amount, they werent going to deliver to me because it was so late and the driver wanted to go home." Obviously this was all in very broken English, but you get the idea of how rude this is. That was even after she tacked on an outrageous delivery fee. If it hadnt taken her ten minutes to get the address right, it would have been a decent amount of time to cook the food and deliver it to my home by 10, which is when they close. I was a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant for over a year, and you can bet that I tip those drivers more than usual because I know how annoying it is to deliver food to hungry people so late at night, but because the woman decided that her time was more important than money, her driver lost out on a great tip, and she lost out on a potentially great reoccurring customer. I never give bad reviews, but this place is unbelievable, and even if the food is as great as everyone says it is, they do not deserve the rating that they have gotten so far. Customer service goes a long way in my book, and this place doesnt understand the meaning of the words. If you feel the same way, please avoid this place at all costs. They bring shame to the industry, and will only bring you extreme frustration.

I usually dont write reviews but had to write one today. Today, I placed an order of sesame chicken, a house fried rice with a crab rangoon (my regular order here since 2005) and asked to get it delivered. But then I got an emergency call from my girl saying she got a flat tire in middle of a highway, and I immediately went onto check up on her out on i75 completely forgetting about the delivery order. When I came home about an hour later after replacing the tire, I found a note on the door and then suddenly recalled all about my dinner. When I called them back and apologizing, the Chinese lady there seemed to understand what was happening, and they recooked me the food brand new (they are fried foods, so it was easy to tell that sauced up fried goodness was freshly made) and managed to deliver it in next 30 min. with no extra charges. I see that few reviewers had an unfortunate experiences at this joint but really, you have to understand these are hard working Chinese folks who work hard everyday. (as far as I remember, they NEVER closed no matter how bad the weather is, no matter how bad the economy got, and how hard it was to find gas except on new years day ) They are hard working folks and yes, the manager lacks the fluency in English, but just because her sentence structure was grammatically broken up does not mean she is rude and does not care about the customers. Rather, she was being gentle in her own cultural way. This is America. I get it, but still, try bowing for once, make her feel this is her home as much as we call it home (perhaps a warm cheesy nihao would be a good start). She will treat you like shes Chinese Madea and feed you like an emperor.

I used to eat mini stop at least once a week, but tonight will be the last time I ever eat there. The chicken was so nasty. The look of it even made me scared to try it. And of course it was disgusting. The ride home I kept getting this awful smell and was thinking I really hope that is not my food making that smell. Considering that I didnt smell that the way there it had to be my food. I stopped eating here for awhile because of poor customer service and bad tasting food. I ordered my food one day and the manager could hardly understand me. She said okay and hung up. She hung up before giving me a price or when it would be there. I tried calling back like ten times with no answer. So I figured I needed to go eat somewhere else that day. I get a call 25 mins later with a delivery driver saying my food had arrived. Told them what went on with there manager and that Im not a work. The manager then calls me with an attitude. Of course I tried explaining my reasoning behind it and she couldnt understand me. Telling me to never order delivery again. I saw how one person said how their food smelled like cigarettes. Well my friend used to work there and he said the chefs constantly smoke while cooking your food. After hearing this I was done eating there. Then of course I tried ordering from them again after I heard that those chefs quit. The food only got worse. Tonight I figured I would give it another try but that was not a good idea.

I have been a customer for many years and no longer will enjoy mini stop. Simple mix up with my order and the manager seems to think I lied about my order?! She barely spoke English so we were lost in translation there. Why she is the manager of an American business who knows? They said her name was "Chi Kong" I doubt that is right. But the reason I am writing this review is because she hung up on a paying customer when she couldnt comprehend what I was saying!! What is that ?! I believe her real name is Aeda. I do not know if that is correctly spelt but thats what I was told. Do not eat here the manager is cutting corners with customer service. If she was no longer a manager or received some English courses to help her with communication with customers! I may eat there again but until then I have no time for someone that is too lazy to learn the language of the land the live in. If I lived in China you best believe I would learn Chinese. The rest of her staff understood me perfectly fine. She just didnt seem to be all there. In the end I had them pick up the order and asked for a refund. I didnt want any extra sauce in my food (if you catch my drift). So thats my horrible experience with mini stop Chinese.

One of the best Chinese places in Acworth and Kennesaw. Although the food is very excellent there some things to beware of. 1. Customer service and wait times are abysmal. We have waited over 1.5 hours for food to be delivered and sometimes our order has gone missing. This is very frustrating and has caused us to go elsewhere when we needed food in a reasonable amount of time. Whats crazy is that at other times we have got our food in 15 minutes. This inconsistency drives another issue. 2. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes the food is phenomenal and other times its bland. Last night I ordered a General Tsos chicken. I have ordered this many times. This time it came with no sauce so it was dry. This is not ok. Since your service and food will be hit or miss be prepared for either extremes. Making the assumption you will get good food, there a food entrees you should try. Get the fried egg rolls. Chewy and crispy with fresh ingredients. The steamed dumplings taste light and yummy. The chicken and vegetables have fresh crispy veggies. Keep in mind that my review is based on years of coming here. Hopefully the time when you go will be delicious and quick.
