We are moving to the area from Fort Worth, TX where we have a large Vietnamese community and can easily find amazing pho. We were really hoping to find our new Newnan source for delicious noodle soup. I sure hope we manage to find something better than this disappointing bowl of sadness. The atmosphere is tired and a bit unkempt--I wont say filthy, but I certainly felt like it was due for a good spring cleaning. The service was also lacking; Id say curt at best. Based on other reviews, I believe our server was the owner. One would think she would be mindful of her customers, but she actually cut me off mid-order to go take care of something else. We definitely felt as though she would have preferred to be anywhere else and was taking care of us begrudgingly. Though the decor and service were disappointing, the food was even less impressive. The spring rolls were not well wrapped so fell apart pretty readily. We had the special beef noodle soup. The well done brisket went beyond well done and landed squarely in the overdone zone--not burnt, but very dry and strange tasting. The best thing I could say about the "rare beef" was "eh," and the meatballs were not only minuscule, but they had none of the traditional Vietnamese flavors one might expect. The broth was just OK, pretty boring and not terribly flavorful. Finally, there were more onions than there were noodles, which may have actually been a good thing as the noodles were also overcooked, and the onions were the tastiest part of the dish. I cannot speak for the other Asian cuisines served in the restaurant, but I cant say Im very interested in giving the place a second shot to try them. If youre looking for good pho in the area, I can confidently say, this is not the pho youre looking for.

Such a great location- too bad the environment has very bad energy (2 different news stations playing, distasteful, dusty silk plant decor, popping noise very loud coming from some glass block room). The service seemed lazy and unappreciative of patronage--although food came fast. Dirty/ uneaten dishes piled up and werent cleared away until a nice man came out of the kitchen and noticed the mess. The food was less than desirable. The summer rolls were mostly stuffed with iceberg lettuce and lacked glass noodles, herbs and flavor. The sauce was the thick peanut kind, so I mixed in hoisin. The pho beef ball soup was just okay but the beef balls were peppery, contained chewy fat, and over cooked. The noodles were mushy. I can do better at home (and have) for much, much less! I was the only customer inside the place. All very sad since it could be a great place and the potential is there for sure. Sticky condiment containers on the table and way too bright overhead light was just the anti-icing on the cake.

Not my taste The atmosphere feels more like you walked into a strangers house instead of an actual restaraunt. It smells like strange pouporie (not sure if thats spelled right) or some air spray instead of good food. The waiter is definitely the owner and probably the only cook as well besides her son. And it took quite a long time for me and my husband to get our food even though there were only like three other groups of people there. The curry wasnt bad, it just didnt taste like curry at all. My husbands food was overcooked as well. Just my experience though, seems more like a good place for older couples who want to relax for a long while.

Fire dragon is by far the best Asian food in the Coweta/Fayette area. The Kung Pao Chicken is beyond compare. The Hunan Chicken and Chicken with Broccoli are also great. The quality of the chicken is better than any of its competitors, the veggies are fresh, and the sauces are very flavorful. A lot of Chinese tastes all the same, but each dish at Fire Dragon is a unique, well-developed flavor.

Excellent restaurannt! I will say it is one of the best in Newnan but of course its competition isnt all that great. The Calamari is awesome as well as their dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. One of my now favorites is the Fire Dragon Chicken which the chicken is put into a secret hot mixture. Add some steam rice and you have yourself a hearty meal with some snap to it.

I just tried Fire Dragon for the first time when I realized that they are owned and managed by the same folks who used to own and manage Dragon Lady in Peachtree City. To my instant pleasure, it was just as wonderful as I remember it all those years. Excellent food, great price, superb service. There is no place better for Chinese and other Asian cuisine.

Everything we have tried here has come out perfect. We tend to go for the Vietnamese soups at lunch. For dinner, we have tried several of their signature dishes. The two lamb dishes under the Malaysian section are great favorites. They do tend to get busy occasionally but the wait for your food has never been excessive. Worth a trip .....

Our family eats here at least once a week and we see our friends there when we go! The resturant is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh with quality produce and meats. Consistent high quality food and it is hard to pick a favorite with all the great menu choices.

This is the freshest chinese in Newnan by far! Weve visisted several times and never had a bad experience. The food is always hot and tasty. I hope more people discover this "not on the main drag" place so they can keep raising the bar for restaurants in Newnan.

I tried the Fire Dragon Chicken and it was nothing special, just fried chicken covered with hot sauce. Based on the reviews below, I need to try something else and see if this place is as good. Service was good though.
