I normally eat at this place 4 to 5 times a month. I am a follow local business owner and take my employees there regularly. Today I took my family there to get dinner. We were seated fast and had our order taken. I have a 2 and a 6 year old with me. You know you are on borrowed time trying to keep a 2 year old seated in a restaurant. 15 minutes goes by waiter says, sorry for the wait food will be out shortly. 30 minutes goes by waiter comes and says the same thing. 45 minutes ,the same speach. I have no problem with the order taking longer due to a larger party in front of us. This is where its gets messed up. There were 2 tables seated roughly 10 to 15 minutes after us getting their food. Now I am getting irritated knowing someone dropped the ball. I am an operations manager I know when there is a failure, its my job. 55 min goes by waiter comes by again sorry for the wait food will be out shortly. Now I am getting pissed and ask to speak to the manager. A lady named Kathy comes out and says our order was late due to a large table. I asked her to explain why the 2 tables next to us came in after had already been served their food. I then asked who was at fault. "Because I dont feel it is right to short the waiter a tip if its the kitchens fault however if its ths waiters fault he doesnt deserve a 20% plus tip." She wouldnt answer the question and still blamed it on the large party. This is clearly a lie at this point. My ticket got lost on the kicthen line and Kathy wouldnt admit to it. They finally get our food out to us. Nothing special, just a sandwhich, wrap, and a kids mac & cheese. Nothing that couldnt be prepared in less then 5 mins tops. She did not seem to be sincere at all to the fact the employees in which she failed to manage properly messed our order up. As a manager you are responsible for the actions good and bad of the team you are running. You are the person in which makes things right between the customer and the business when things go wrong. I never rate businesses on how they operate when things are smooth but how they handle a situation in which things go wrong. You Kathy are a failure! If I were the owner you would be fired asap. I paid the bill in full and tipped the waiter 20%. I will no longer be bringing my family nor my employees back to this place. This is a shame because I actually liked the food but I will not feed business to a company that treats their customers like this.

So I stopped by today to grab something to eat since I was in the area. My over all experience was ok, not great but not awful. From the moment I was sat to the moment I left the server I had (Ryan W.) was very attentive which was great. The bathroom was semi clean, I say semi cause the stalls had greasy hand prints all over them but thats about it on that. I guess its expected since its a BBQ joint. It was very cold in there however so cold the people in the booth in front of me asked to be moved outside on the patio. I wish I would have thought of that. So if you are considering coming to eat here remember to bring something warm to put on while you eat. I ordered a side salad with chicken. The lettuce was nice and crisp which was a good sign along with the thin slices of carrots and small bits of cucumbers. The chicken had a nice smokey flavors to it but thats it.. it was to dry and looked liked a hot mess on top of my salad. literally with ever bite of chicken I would have to take a sip of water in order to wash down. Im not going to let the chicken I had stop me from coming back cause that smokey meat they had cooking behind a bar made my mouth water even though I was full. So i am coming back to taste those BBQ entrees.

Average at best. Went there for lunch today with some co-workers. There was six of us so we sat in an empty area that was freezing. Thats not effecting my rating but it was uncomfortably cold. I ordered a combo with BBQ pork and Chicken. Im pretty sure I had about 2oz of pork on my plate. I mentioned it to my server about the portion being so small and she said something about getting me more but it never came and I was full after eating the rest of my meal so I didnt gripe about it any further. I was just looking forward to the pork more than anything I suppose I should have strictly gotten the pork platter. The salad is clearly pre-bagged and the lettuce was wilted like it had been frozen or something. My co-worker asked for no sauce on her chicken and they still put BBQ on it. We had to chase someone down to get our check because our server had disappeared for some time. The food came out super quick so that was good I guess. Overall the food and service was mediocre. Nothing to really brag about. If BBQ was the theme I cant say Id be thinking Dreamlands as my first choice.

I really need this place to be good, I live a mile away and love barbecue. We gave them two shots before commenting, the first visit was awful and the second was worse. One things for sure, they have the worst ribs Ive ever had, period, in 50 years of eating ribs. Theyre tough to the point theyre not edible. Our first visit they got most of the order wrong, the part they got right was served in small portions for the price. All the meat was tough, but the ribs are ridiculous. Second visit was worse, tried the ribs again and they were the same, couldnt tear the meat off the bone, the only thing edible was the okra. The staff was apologetic and refunded our money, but we still wasted a good bit of time and had to go elsewhere for dinner. Other locations must know how to smoke meat, not sure why this one cant get it right. We go for barbecue once a week and pass Dreamland and drive 15-20 miles for great barbecue at lower prices.

I wouldnt give it a star if I could. This was the absolute worst BBQ Ive ever had. The service sucked, except for prebussing. It seemed as if that was the only thing they learned in training. Im a fellow bartender and the bartender who struggled serving our table with no one at the bar, concerned me. She seemed very timid and I struggled to hear what she was saying. Not a good trait in bartender. The food was disgusting. Its the main reason Ill never be back. If you want real BBQ, please look up your other options in Atlanta. This is NOT real southern BBQ. Its saddening. The only thing they did right is the beer list.

I loved going to the previous location in Norcross and when I happened upon this location in Duluth I had to go in for some BBQ! Inside it is very spacious and I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich combo. The little one loved the mac and cheese. We decided to get some takeout for the relatives and I would have never tried the barbecue chicken -- it was so tasty I liked it even better than the pork! We got a half slab of ribs but like a previous reviewer mentioned I think I enjoy baby backs better. The banana pudding was awesome! Cant wait to come back!
