I have been to DoReMi a few times with both small and large parties. Each time we had a ton of fun. The rooms are reasonably priced per hour ($20-30 depending on the size), always clean, very comfortable. It is a classic Korean karaoke bar. You can get drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as order food from the restaurant that bears the same name. I am American and very clearly NOT Korean, and while sometimes the language barrier can be inconvenient, it was well worth the effort to have so much fun. They generally have someone there who can speak enough English to take a reservation over the phone. If not, just call back at another time and try again. While the customers are predominantly Korean/Asian, we have seen groups of various ethnicities there--all having a great time. Only two complaints: 1) the music is pretty loud even if you turn it down as much as you can, and 2) while the rooms are very clean and well-ventilated, you can tell people smoke in there frequently. It doesnt bother me too much, but if you were supremely allergic, it might. Otherwise, song selection, price, and service have all been great. LOVE this place and planning to go back soon!

The karaoke aspect of this one is decent. The song selection is fine, but the rooms are a little smaller and they have a really odd 4-monitor thing going on. You walk into the room and instead of one large screen everyone shares, or even two mid-size screens, youre presented with four very tiny, 1999-style TVs to read your lyrics off of. Kind of odd compared to the other karaoke businesses around Gwinnett. Id rate 3 stars given just that. However, the main reason you want to go to this one is for the food. Theres a straight-up restaurant in there cooking up entire, steaming, giant meals and snacks and all kinds of everything for patrons. Also, I didnt smell cigarette smoke anywhere in this location, which is extremely rare. Points for both of these push this to 4/5 stars for me.

I was moved by the reviews on this site to go to Do Re Mi Karaoke Club. They made it sounded soooo much fun....But the truth is.... Do Re Mi Karaoke club is NOT all it seems to be ppl....this place was split in 2 locations in the H-Mart lot, but once found... they had this snobbish attitude like we do not want to serve your kind here. We see NOBODY there...you have to make reservations they said. and its only for Private parties gathering and it will cost you $20 per hour..lol. My boyfriend and I said this play sucks and my boyfriend happens to be a Korean...I do NOT recommand this place to be big time fun for Karako...((The Spot)) is the place to go (Open Mike---No charges!!)

If your not Korean and looking for a good time, DO NOT go here! First of all, the location is not a great meeting place, its hidden in a corner in a strip somewhere. Dont even bother to try and ask for directions, because they will not understand you. Second, this place has very poor customer service. The workers were rude and disrespectful. They gave us funny looks even before we made our first step into the place, like we were going to rob them or something. If you do not have a Korean friend to bring with you, dont waste your time and money by going, because you wont understand anything they say and theyll treat you like crap. I will never go back to that place ever again!

Came here with my friends to hang out; it was honestly alright. The establishment was like a typical norebang you see in kdramas and stuff. The English songs were not updated, and the Chinese songs were really limited. The owner cant really speak much English, so it was hard trying to communicate and asking about the cost. If you really want to come here, come with a Korean friend so you can actually get a room. We had like 8 people in our party, and somehow we got charged 60 bucks for 2 hours (I thought it was 20 bucks/hour). I honestly dont recommend coming if youre not fluent Korean, but its a nice place to hang out and chill.

Contrary to the previous reviewers, Ive never had an Asian friends with me, and never had a bad experience. Weve gone about 4 times now. One thing most people need to remember is that this place fills up fast, and reservations are expected ahead of time. Thats why people get turned away. Regulars know to call ahead the day before or so and make a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights. I do wish the sound could be turned down a little, and the food is so-so, but otherwise we always have a great time. Theres probably 3,000 songs in their book, and most popular English songs.

Fine karaoke rooms and good service, but you do sometimes need to track down the staff to get what you need. Be aware this is a Korean karaoke joint so almost all the the materials are in Korean, and their song library is 80% Korean songs. Still plenty to keep English speakers singing for hours, but not the extensive collection you might be used to at other karaoke bars.

I love the individual rooms. It gives you privacy from other people. I dont care to sit near anyone and cramped up with other people. This restaurant is great! The food is great! The people are great! If you cant find it too bad. You dont need to come anyway. Contrary to the negative unhappy individuals this restaurant is great.

Rude waiter. We dropped in to have a beer at the bar and was watching the game. We cheered on a touchdown and the waiter told us to be quiet. ??? What is this a library. All good. Wouldnt recommend. Dude made us open our own beer bottle. Barely spoke English well.

Ive never been to a karaoke place like this. You get a private room able to hold about a dozen people, 2 microphones and a huge selection of songs. Food is also good.
