Great food. Fair prices. Nice location. Clean restrooms. Good customer service sometimes. However, the complaints I have far out weigh the compliments I made. 1. The onion rings are always overcooked and almost too hard to eat. 2. Everytime that I go there and get a burger it is over saturated with sauce which makes the buns mushy and then fall apart as Im eating my burger. When this happens it is super messy to eat. I never have this problem when I go to other places to eat a burger only at Dairy Queen. 3. Today (6-18-2017, Fathers Day) my wife and I decided to go to Dairy Queen at 11 a.m. to eat. However, we could not get in the door nor could seven other people who were waiting outside because the doors were still locked. Yet online and on the door it says they open at 10 a.m. One guy tried to go through drive-thru but turned away when he saw nine people waiting to get in. 4. The Blizzards are not what they used to be. The Blizzards used to be so thick that when they turned them upside down nothing would fall out of the cup or drip from the cup. Now when they do turn the blizzards upside down and then back right side up they do it so quickly that you dont have a chance to see that its melting already until they hand it to you. Or they just hand it to you without turning it upside down and you can basically see that the top of the blizzard is just like ice cream soup. 5. One time my wife was handed a Blizzard that was put into a bad cup and was leaking. I mean you could clearly see it was leaking bad. She asked the guy if they could remake it for her. Instead he grabbed another cup and slid it over the bad cup and said "Here you go." 6. Then on top of that they sometimes put more toppings in the blizzards then they do ice cream. If I wanted to pay a hefty price for a premium product I would go to a specialty ice cream shop not Dairy Queen. 7. And the Banana Splits are not what they used to be either. The last time that we got one the ice cream was basically half-melted and was just soup all around the bananas. 8. Then we go in the other day and they are sold out of the A1 Bacon Burger and the Cotton Candy Blizzard. How can you be sold out of a burger? And how can you be sold out of a blizzard? Apparently they did not order enough of the ingredients to make the Cotton Candy Blizzard or the A1 Bacon Burger. For the A1 bacon burger they could have just ran down to the grocery store and got some A1 steak sauce instead of saying they were sold out if thats what the case was. If it was not for the fair prices on combo meals and the $5 and $6 combo meals we would be going someplace else thats a little more expensive like Burger King or someplace a little cheaper with a less quality product like McDonalds.

This place has been awful the past few months. I know dairy queen has dumbed down the process of making a blizzard, so its hard to understand why every time the cup is half filled with m&ms and an overbearing taste of chocolate syrup. Its like its 40% mms, 50% chocolate syrup, 10% ice cream. Please start using the correct scoops so you dont have employees just throwing stuff into a cup. I travel a lot for work, and never encounter this anywhere else. Just points to a lack of training and oversight. If you fix the problem Ill gladly delete this review... Nothing worse than driving twenty minutes to get a blizzard only to throw it away when you get home.

I was in the only person in line, and I ordered one dipped cone and a large fry. I got my dipped cone immediately from the workers on the ice cream side. On the food side, two of the employees were talking for at least 10 minutes. This was the fry guy and some other worker. The fries were done and when the screen starts beeping (assuming because my order is past the wait time they ideally want to have) they put my fries on a tray. They continue to talk until one of them realizes that was all I ordered and I was standing there waiting for it.

We ordered blizzards through the drive thru, we waited a couple minutes to receive our blizzard and didnt get it yet. We could see the old ladies chatting through the window with our blizzards right next to them. My mother knocked on the window and they said "one second" and kept chatting. They gave us our "blizzard" which was melted and looked like milk and didnt give us straws or anything. That was a bad experience at this location so I would recommend going into the restaurant next time to recieve what you ordered.

I have lived in Cumming all my life (60 years) and eaten at Dairy Queen hundreds of times. The past two times we went there it was the worst food and service I have ever had there. I always recommended Dairy Queen in Cumming and said it was the best Dairy Queen anywhere. I guess not anymore. I would say Mr. Bill and Wyatt Willingham are tossing in theirs graves. God bless them and the memories of excellence

The staff is amazing and 5 star worth. The new remodeling sucks and is very terrible. I come for a family environment and not an office cube with one drink machine. When busy there is no room. The food is ok just dont seem like the old dq. It makes me sad but I will never return again with my family.I did like the new board and makeup the line setup is better but everything else is a disaster.

The Blizzards and cone we ordered were fine...we waited a couple of minutes but it was fairly busy. Only 2 stars though because the staff needs some serious training in customer service. Continued to observe as we sat eating our ice cream.....it was like they were all sentenced to the job by a judge or something. Almost became comical after awhile.

Came in for icecream and a rude "manager" came and yelled at the young guy taking my order. He apparently ordered a strawberry when they said vanilla? He got in his face and flustered this poor kid. When he left I told the young man keep his head up work hard and hell do great things in life while that A hole continues to be a "manager"

Absolutely horrible. We waited for 15 min in the drive thru and ordered 2 blizzards. They were given with lids on them and melting like a shake. We threw them away, angry and had to leave because we didnt have time to go in and complain. Total waste of time and money. We will never return to this location. No consistency.

The food is great and the owners and employees are good people. Some teenage girl dropped her car off and left blocking us in we could not leave our food was cold and ice cream melted. The owner took care of my order . He remade everything fresh.Thanks it is appreciated.

Ice cream is excellent, but thats really the only upside. The service is unbelievably slow in the drive-thru, and the food is very off. (Not entirely sure the foods weird taste is unique to this one, have had similar negative food.) But the ice cream makes up for it.
