The food is great. They did try to cut food cost a while back ,food quality did go down. However, it is back up to its high quality and standard again . We did stop going for sometime due to food not being as good as it once was. The service has always been really good. There use to be an older lady manager. She always come to tables and talked to everyone asking if all was ok. After she left it went down but it good again. You quality and preparation of your food is what sets your restaurant ahead of everyone else in the local area. If you go to can food and dont keep your good cooks youll be just like Golden Corral processed food. People can get processed food anywhere. Its hard to get a nice home cooked meal in any restaurant that doesnt have tons of preservatives. Thats what makes you guys rock. You keep it old school you will always be in business and keep people coming back if you have something no one else has and can do. We drive from Jacksonville, Fl to eat a few times a month. Thats how much we love your food. You feel at home ,it truly a,great place to dine. You will look forward to your next trip. We will be there on Saturday 26, 2015.

Love the food and the waitresses are wonderful - but ------- your cashier (Elaina) is a very rude person. And your policy about no senior citizens discount until 2 PM is ridiculous !!! We elderly get out early do our walking, shopping,etc then stop for lunch before returning home for rest of day- why can we not get the discount before 2PM?????? We deserve it !!!!! Also, the idea if putting fresh produce in your walkin area is sooooo wrong- drawing outside bugs in every time the door opens- this is supposed to be a restaurant not a farmers market. That produce needs to be in a larger area, if you need to compete with a restaurant across the street that has a little store inside theirs ( but it is not where the insects are getting into the dining area- as yours is)

Pros: great price for 2 adults and kid. Under 30.00 with tax on saturday. Donna is a wonderful lady that is a waiter or server not sure. Left a more than 20% tip. It was not over crouded. cons: I seen a fly crawling around on some of the deserts at the end of my visit. I think that the sever station should be closer to the kitchen and the staff should have a dress code not uniform but they need to be able to stand out. Food areas should be a little more attented by staff to rotate food and clean utinsels. And it needs fresh in up a bit smell wise. Overall 7 out of 10 and despite the cons if I was back in town and hungry Id be back.

The staff is friendly and if you want some good old down home Southern Country soul food cooking well this is the place to be you cant go wrong with their cooking theyve got one in Brunswick Savannah Statesboro Hinesville Douglas Valdosta Waycross Macon and even Lake City Florida and you got to try one of their fried ribs its delicious plus they have homemade desserts anything you can think of dont miss out come on down and see them

Loved the division of the tables and bars. A larger variety of foods than some other of same name like : fresh pork rinds, crab soup, low country boil, crab salad, The fried chicken, shrimp, creamed corn and cabbage were delicious. A large variety of food! This Ole Times was filled with beautiful green plants. Someone has a green thumb. Definitely a place to try some great southern cooking.

They also have Seafood & other nights where this, buffet style restaurant, puts out anything that you can think of! There are also a few different locations. So find your favorite foods at one of there clean & well served locations!

For a buffet all the food was fresh I had green beans macaroni and cheese fried chicken barbecue vegetables are wonderful well seasons and the waitresses are some of the best that Ive encountered if youre real hungry and youre in the mood for a Country Buffet I highly suggest this place

This was a mandatory stop for us on our New York to Florida roadtrip. Being ignorant tourists, I cant declare for sure if this is true Southern food, but it was some of the best weve ever eaten. They make pulled pork the way I like it, like a real pig roast. Everyone is so nice!

Love this place good cornbread stuffing an chicken gravy with hard boiled eggs Im it. Desserts need improvement.. But overall good eats an service. Sure miss Ida she worked there when it use to be Ryans . So RIP to Ida she passed away February 3,2016...

OMG! Best buffet ever! Gumbo, fried shrimp, fried mullet, mash potates, ribs, fried and barb qued chicken, salad, smothered roast...I can go on, ..cabbage, corn, crayfish,... Just too many items to name. Staff great. Never disappointed on every trip.

I am always a little hesitant about going to a buffet but I really enjoyed this one! The salad bar was well stocked and clean. I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. My hubby tried the fried chicken and greens, 100% recommend!!

My spouse and I decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews on it. Wow! What a variety of food. No storage of variety of meat and vegetables, not to mention desserts. Definitely worth your visit. Something for everyone to enjoy.

It was wonderful! The food was excellent, the staff was extreamly accommodating. Pam our waitress was very kind and attentive! Try the banana bread you will want to just eat that for a whole meal.
