This Popeyes restaurant moved from its former Metropolitan avenue location to Cleveland avenue and it has made an excellent, pleasant and welcomed difference. The old location was falling a part, smelled horrible and sat a top a hill jammed next to an emission testing site with lousy parking. The current location is a new building specifically constructed for Popeyes, so there is now a well lighted, wide, smooth lot with plenty of parking, and a drive-thru that works properly. The inside of the restaurant is bright, clean and appealing to the eyes and appetite. The food also has improved and become more consistent and reliable in regards to fresh food being available through out the hours of operation. While the managers seem to run a tight and timely operation, there have been occasions when employees are slow, careless, inattentive, absent minded and too involved in personal matters best left for when off the clock and premises. Nevertheless, this restaurant has made a tremendous improvement and wise business decisions.

I Stopped Buying Food From This Location. Bcuz Everytime I Can In If The Older Feminen Guy Waa Working Front Counter He Always Had Some Type of Undertoned Thing To Say About Me To An Employee Before Taking My Order. An Your Intuition Will Tell You When Someone Is Talking About In Front of Your Face. So I Overlooked It Several Times. Then I Thought About Contacting My Brothers That Live In The 4 Seasons Apts. But I Thought About It And I Didnt Want Then To Get In Any Trouble For Beating Up An Old Tired Washed Up Queen Such As Himself. So In Order To Save Him From From Getting His Azz Beat. I Decided To Stop Coming To This Establishment. Bcuz If I Stooped To His Level of Ignorance I Wouldnt Be Better Than The Old Tired Unwanted Through and Delayed Old Queen.

The food and service is what it is, not grate but not bad. But the place is filthy! We are not talking like they just had a rush, we are talking katchup, drinks and food DRIED on the tables and floor! Looks like they have a full staff and some where just talking in the dining room. The profanity coming from the kitchen is also a turn off.
