I went to Krog with my girlfriend and a friend. They got food from Freds and I opted for BBQ because I had seen the brisket on the Creative Loafing list of things to eat and I find the list, despite being a marketing ploys, helps me from getting in a rut and I try new places and things. I regret my decision to eat here. I am from Texas and one thing I know about is brisket. This brisket was dry and didnt really taste like anything. No meat taste, no smoke taste. It was not much different than eating the piece of white bread that came with it. BORING AND NOT GOOD! I had to use sauce because it was so dry and with brisket, you should NEVER need sauce. EVER. The meat was really disappointing and I have pretty much decided to never eat BBQ brisket outside of Texas again. The mac and cheese was kind of meh. With so many other great places to eat at Krog, do yourself a favor and dont eat here.

It was just ok. The first time was hubby and I ate there was at the Krog Street location. We just finished the Beltline tour and wanted good barbque chicken sandwiches. Its been tough to find a place that makes real barbque. What happen to the seasons, spices, the grilled taste, the smell of charcoal, grilling the bread and did I say, what happen to marinated meat with sauce cooked with the meat? I guess I need to cook more at home.. huh?

Great to see them open in this fantastic space. A welcome addition to the neighborhood and the market. The service is friendly and they clearly have an in-depth knowledge and love of their product. The brisket was awesome as was the coleslaw. I just hope once the markets hits its stride that there is enough seating for folks to enjoy the experience.

Their brisket has been consistently cooked and not dry. Its hard not to appreciate a BBQ place in the south that serves up Beef and does it without drying it out. Ill need to come back for the pork ribs, but they get 4 stars on the brisket alone. Unfortunately the 5th star is missing since the sides are lacking. Both in flavor and creativity.

Food is good, but weird menu setup. Sides are $4 a piece, so if you want a meat / sandwich, 2 sides and a drink its $18-$19. Way too expensive for lunch or BBQ in general. Other places have long lines inside of Krog and this place doesnt. Just change your menu to make it easy to order an affordable lunch option and it would be packed.

They pulled the pork right in front of you, making one sandwich at a time. You can see the juices right as its being sliced. It is phonominal BBQ!! The sauce is so amazing, as is the Mac n cheese. So far, it is the best bbq place in Atlanta and we have tried just about all of them. Do not miss this place!

This is the perfect example of how a brisket should be cooked. Absolutely perfect. They gave me a plastic knife and fork and the worst knife possible cut through the brisket like it was jello. Not a fan of most Mac and cheese but theirs has great flavor to it.

I use to really love this place. Last time I went the meat was really dry. The brisket was dry and small and had absolutely no fat. Not to mention I threw away $125. I guess all good things must come to an end. Disappointing though had such high hopes.

The guys running this place are great. Very friendly and happy to help any way they can. Tough to think of a better team. The BBQ and sides are good but not the best. A great choice in Krog Street Market.

Quality of food in good but service sucks. They dont give you what you order or what they have listed on the menu. Instead of trying to fix the order they much rather you just leave them alone.

Very good BBQ. Ribs were the best meat out of the 3 I tried... But the pulled pork and brisket were very good. Didnt need sauce...but the original sauce was better than the Carolina.
