What can you expect. Waiters/waitresses feel they are owed 18% or more just because they say hello, can I take your order and then say here is your check, take your time, no hurry. So, if this is you, then you wont get more than 10% from me. Sorry, not really. I expect you to come back to my table and check for my satisfaction, a little casual, unscripted conversation and check the level of my drink, and if its unlimited refills, refill it without asking, otherwise ask, Ill probably drink it, or not, but that shows youre doing job. What I really hate about dining out is telling the staff how to "DO THEIR" job. Its not or shouldnt be my place to ask for service. So I walk into this place and sit down at the bar. Nobody notices. I consider my options, get up and walk out, sit and wait, or dramatically make a statement to an employee that Im here, Ive arrived and Id like some service. Like how about a menu, maybe a drink, or something, PLEASE. Finally someone notices, Im served chips and salsa, I wait a couple minutes and then I get a menu and am asked what would you like to drink. Then he disappears, a few minutes later he reappears and I order my drink. Ordered food and as Im ordering, he walks away. Halfway to kitchen, I completely order. WOW, didnt think he heard it all, but I was fortunate. Order received and delilivered. Pretty smooth sailing until I was ready to go. A little bit of a wait, but not too bad. Got my check, handed over my credit card and set. Done, ready to get out of here. Except, I felt a need to type all this. If it werent for their Margarita, who knows, I probably wouldnt have typed this. Great Margarita. Too bad girl them. Dont forget, tips are calculated "pretax".

I recommend Cantina Loredo! I walked into the restaurant located at Village Market on Saturday, ordered 2-crispy tacos (because Ive called in orders during the weekdays) and thought it was excellent Mexican Foods! This particular day (as a walk in customer) I sat and waited over 30-minutes for 2-tacos "to go!" I finally walked over to the counter to ask the girl if they forgot about my order! She goes to the back and prepared them herself apparently (mind you after handling money) from other customers! Its unbelievable that she took the time to wash her hands! She returned with the tacos and I asked "what took so long", she said she didnt know, all the while the (manager Romone who was the one that took the order) sat and looked on like a lost cause cluck! Apparently these Mexicans forgot they are also people of color and has the audacity to disregard "other" people of color! Im so out done! Poor quality service from this group of individuals, they are a sad, sad group!! I forgot to mention, I wanted to tell her to stuff those tacos where the sun doesnt shine, but instead I told her I dont think I wanted them and walked away, I guess she picked her chin up off the floor sooner or later!

To KW - Your very rude comment that the "residents of Wesley Chapel do not have the capacity to judge Mexican fare" is in poor taste and also quite ignorant. Further proof that you are an ignorant snob, besides stating publicly that an entire city with several excellent restaurants has no palette, is shown when you misspelled "Monterey", uniformed that the cheese is named for Monterey, CA and not Monterrey, Mexico after you so proudly stated that you are from California. By the way, idiot, they use Queso Chihuahua there and not white American. Further more, muy stupido, you are the one who is incapable of judging food because you said that they should use monterey cheddar, which is a product that only exists at Subway, a restaurant that you gave a 5 star review to the same day. One more thing, please go back to Cali, moron!

The first time I visited here I didnt have the best experience but I thought you know there are bad days so I gave it another chance I went today and I ordered the lunch special number 3 which consists of an enchilada rice and beans and a taco. The food was cold when I got it I ordered the food and they said it would take 10 minutes I got there way before 10 minutes and the food was cold as if it has been sitting out for at least an hour not to mention the beans looked old and when I went to grab chips to dip it into my salsa there was a hair baked into the chip. I never write reviews but I felt the need to warn others before they experience something like I did. I will honestly never go back and thats sad considering that this is one of the closest Vallaratas restaurants to my house.

First of all, which mexican restaurant doesnt make Pina Coladas, well this one doesnt. Which mexican restaurant uses American Cheese in its food, you will find sandwich cheese here! Not even monterrey cheddar or the 4-Mexican cheese blend or the Queso chihuahua "mexican cheese" found in the mexican aisle of your local grocery. The service was poor with waiters just looking around when you need a refill or how about "How was everything? Can I get you anything else"? The quality is poor, and Im from California so I have high expectations of a authentic mexican restaurant, but the ratings for this restaurant are inflated by residents of Wesley Chapel that do not have the capacity to judge mexican fare when their only other option is Taco Bell!

Great place for mexican food! Ive been coming here since Ive lived in Wesley Chapel (5 years now) I grew up in California, and I think its great! You are always going to get great portions at a great price. Im a big fan of the super sized margaritas! They make them nice and strong, you can taste the tequila and not just the mix like some places. Over the years the service and food has been very consistent, you know what you are going to get each time. I havent had a bad experience yet! BTW for some people, Mexico is a large country and has a variety of flavors and style, so its not one size fits all, even growing up eating mexican food every family has their own style so to go in thinking all mexican food should taste like X is off base.

We have been visiting for last 6 years...but never checked our itemized check ever.this time we were with a group of friends and had very poor service.wherein they forgot to add cheese in chicken nachos appetizer.we waited for almost an hour before our entrees order was taken.we asked for basic hot sauce on the side for which we were charged(server didnt inform us its for a separate charge)for final check they charged us $15 extra and upon enquiring had no explanation for that. We have been coming here for 6 years but were let down in front of our friends.it was very bad experience and staff was not courteous at all. Will not be returning back ever.
