I am never disappointed when I come to this fun little restaurant with great view of Mount Dora Lake and the seaplanes fly in and out. You see it all. This is another favorite of mine. They have the BEST hamburgers anywhere. When I know Im headed to Tavares, I make sure to stop there for a burger!! They are huge. They are cooked to order and my favorite is the jalapeno burger. It is HOT. I love my spicy food and can take the heat and this one is no different; except for one little thing -- its spicier than most other burgers so be forewarned. The fries are awesome too. Love the selection of beers. Dont miss this great little restaurant!!

Delicious food, great drink specials, fun staff and an amazing view of the lake in Downtown Tavares, Fl. Watch Sea Planes arrive and depart, while watching a game on one of several tvs indoors or enjoy listening to one of the local musicians/Bands that play there almost every weekend on the back deck. Great for dinning with family, friends or even just that special someone for a romantic night out. PS: I am particularly fond of the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and the homemade pork rinds are absolutely delicious and crisp!! Enjoy!

Frank the cook made a perfect "Tavares Burger" for me and Sliders for my Husband... Wonderful presentation...sorry no picture, first time her and we ate it...but we did ask to speak w the Chef and meet w him directly to tell him we enjoyed our food that much...i mean the whole green romaine, ripe tomatoe, fresh onion and fried crips onion rings, toasted bun and more...we even tipped him... Go frank...i will call ahead to make sure frank is working when i have a burger craving...yeah it was that good

We were seated right away but it took 4 different servers and the manager coming over to get our drink order taken. There was an event at the park next to Puddle Jumpers so we were in the mood to try someplace new to eat. Ordered the fish sandwich which is a house special and it was almost inedible. The size of the fish splice was just too thick of a cut for a sandwich and dominated the rest of the flavors. Wouldnt recommend unless youre just going for drinks.

Havent had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant yet....although upon viewing it, I really cant wait to sit outside and enjoy the water view! However, I have gotten to sample a take out order their " fish and chips", which truly was done to perfection! Crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth middle! The home made tartar sauce added the perfect touch! I cant wait to do it again!

Decent food and a nice view of a lake. If you would like a quiet dinner this isnt the place. Its right next to the lake so there are sea-planes landing in the lake and docking right next to the restaurant. Most of the dining area is open so it can get very loud. The live music is good and the prices arent bad.

The wait staff are all young and fun as well as extremely accommodatung. Theres live music in the afternoons and on weekend evenings. The bottomless sides are a huge bonus to the already great food and the specials are never the same thing th as the you can find every where else. My family lives it here.

A sad experience. With a very large event so we expected to wait. After an hour from placing our order, others around us who arrived after us were eating. They obviously misplaced the order. Instead of a simple apology at the time, the manager argued and called me a liar. Wow, just wow.

Always my first stop when I visit family in Mount Dora. Beautiful view. Try the Lakeside Lager cold and sassy. Best fish and chips...home made potato chips. Great variety menu...really different choices. Sit outside and enjoy the lake. You might even see a sea plane landing

Puddle Jumpers is the best going in Tavares, with a full bar and a full menu to choose from, Puddle Jumpers delivers the best food and drinks around, and if thats not enough, sit outside and enjoy the water. Puddle Jumpers also offers live entertainment on the outside deck.

The beer selection is typical. The food is typical. The service is subpar. Every time I walk in the door, the staff and patrons all look at me like theyre wondering why the heck Im there. When there are so many other choices in downtown Tavares, I choose to go elsewhere.

Great food! Wonderful staff! The 2 daiquiris I ordered would have been better if there had actually been alcohol in them. I rarely drink, so I only ever order one. Drinking 2 of these before eating should have had some effect, but nothing. Overall, we had a nice meal.

Had a company meeting here and after being seated for 20 minutes the staff made us move to outside seating because we were not playing trivia. Also we were served a raw hamburger and fish and chips that were hard as a rock. Not the best experience.

Great view from the second floor balcony! Decent food. Friendly staff. Not miserably overcrowded and noisy. And someone in the area has an honest to goodness true amphibious vehicle! Our party watched it roll in off the lake!

10/10 recommend if your in the area. Great people and great food. Got the bacon cheeseburger and fries and was one of the best burgers Ive had in awhile. Very nice place to go.

Happy Hour is very misleading. Menu says $1 drafts but after getting our bill we found that only bud light is a $1, all other drafts are $1 off. Food was good.
