Went there on a Friday night. Called ahead and made a reservation, still upon arrival had to wait for 20 minutes to get seated. Should have gotten the hint when the owner was sitting us, he was trying to make me sit at the chair he "prepared for me". I think you should let the customer pick the chair. Tried to order a bottle of wine on the menu, they didnt have it, so had to order a different one. The server was nice - had recited the specials, no mention of the price. So we ordered one of the chefs specials - seafood risotto - and another item from the menu. I had an appetizer, then we got the salads, and finally the food. The menu item was delicious - clam and mussels linguini. But the risotto was an abomination. Red soupy mess with seafood. I sent the risotto soup back. Thats when I noticed that the owner was yelling at our server, and pointing at me. It made me feel very uncomfortable & completely ruined the atmosphere created so far. I felt really bad for the server, and the employees that work there. I asked for the food made instead of my risotto to be packed to go. I could not stay there for another 40 minutes, and to be pointed at and made feel uncomfortable, just because the food was not up to par. I got the seafood pasta instead, and still got charged $29.99 for risotto. I will not be going back there. Very sad, because their tiramisu is out of this world & cappuccino was the real deal.

We made a reservation ahead of time and seating was not a problem. However it took 20 minutes to get water and bread. When we walked in at 5:45 for a 6:00 reservation the place was half full. By 6:00 the place was packed, which made the wait even worse. We saw at least 4 tables walk out without even being greeted. People kept coming in and leaving. The place was a mess service-wise from beginning to end. There were no sections made for the waiters and everybody kept running around like chickens with their heads cut off. If you asked a waiter for anything he would never come back. Nobody knew what they were responsible for and the people were left to wait until they figured it out by 6:30-7pm. As for the food: We ordered calamari with red sauce as an app. The order was the smallest we had ever seen and the calamari was very chewy (not fresh). Next came the salads, which again were tiny. I ordered the chicken marsala and my wife ordered the chicken parmesan. My meal was above average but I was only given a half of a chicken breast. (butterflied). For $16.00 you should get a whole breast!! My wifes chicken parm was not breaded and then was covered in eggplant and muzzarela - just not what youd expect for a chicken parmesan. We wont be returning. The meal for two cost over $50.00 and was disappointing to say the least. You will leave hungry and disappointed, go elsewhere.

First time here, Ambiance was great rather romantic , werent greeted until we stood there for a few seconds even though there were numerous staff members in the front, kind of looking around. Once you are seated you are kind of bombarded with people putting things on The table, which fine, I get it, fine dining. The place is a little pricey, but again, fine dining. However I gave my order, with one modification of a sauce swap on my dish, the waiter was rather condescending about my lack of knowledge of how they prepared their dish, different from every single place Ive ever been to. The food was good, but a bit lack luster, and the service was almost non existent once the food was dropped off, we were never asked if the wine was good, and only asked if the food was good once my drink had been empty for a bit, and another server filled it., I didnt see our server after getting the food until we were done and asked for our check. A little disappointing, and honestly wont be dying to go back. Honestly 2.5/5 nice date spot, but not terribly impressive.

I went to this restaurant with my partner and we normally always pick Bellas if we want Italian, but we decided to try something new. Pros- many visits from staff members Great Marsala sauce Good house dressing on salad Owner seems to care about his patrons Cons- Our waiter seemed overall confused The bread was store bought/cold He offered my partner another coke without first telling us the refills are extra on soft drinks (which is strange) Our meals were not prepared the way we asked We werent told our meals included a salad so we could not specify about any allergy concerns We werent offered Parmesan with our salads When we got parm with our meals the staff was very hesitant to give more despite our joking about how much we like We overall felt awkward the whole time Small portion sizes for $16+ meals We definitely wouldnt come back

Thank you Vino e Pasta for a wonderful evening. Everything was perfect. I went here for the first time tonight. I was alone, but my charming waiter made me feel like I was surrounded by friends and family. The food was superb, the piano player played all my favorite songs as if he knew me, and the atmosphere was sophisticated without being pretentious. The real deal! I got the spaghetti w/ sausage sauce, which was immensely flavorful and full of fresh basil. The waiter helped me select just the right wine, and let me experiment a little. :-) The meal came with a crisp fresh salad and bruschetta. I also got the chocolate cheesecake and cappuccino for desert, which capped off a perfect evening. I was a completely satisfied customer and will definitely return. A+

Decent food, but does not over compensate enough for the horrible service. Bread is store bought and not served warm, the pesto spread was good and the butter comes out cold and hard. Soup came out with dinner after appetizers were done. Had to flag someone down for cheese. Never asked if I wanted another drink. Never asked how food was. Waited over 20 mins for our check with nothing but water on our table and was told they didnt know we were done! Check was wrong and owners wife wouldnt fix it until she confirmed with the waiter. Wait staff does not know what they are doing. The owner has no idea of customer service is and the then made his wife stop doing checks to meet someone. And lets not mention the dog that came in! I am all for small business but just not this one!

This is the best little Italian restaurant weve been to. A friend of mine highly recommended Vino E Pasta to me, so my husband and I went here on an impromptu date night. It exceed all of our expectations! Its perfect for a nice romantic dinner. We arrived without a reservation, which after doing so concerned us since the restaurant is cozy and very popular, but we were warmly received and ushered to a nice table. The service was outstanding, our drinks never ran out and the food was served at the perfect times. The food is exceptional, and the dessert with espresso is the perfect way to top off our fantastic meal. We definitely recommend going here, we will be returning!

They accomodated 5 of us without reservations, and did a wonderful job hosting us and providing excellent service. They have an excellent moderately priced wine selection, with some higher end wines as well. The food was superb. Everyone ordered something different, and we were very pleased. This was a crowd that eats out a lot, has traveled extensively, and, quite frankly, is pretty snobby about food. Paired with a very nice Montepulciano, it was a great dinner with competent, but unobtrusive service. As a New Yorker, it reminded me of some of the delightful old neighborhood Italian restaurants scattered all over the city.
