I will never spend my money here again. It was almost as if it was not wanted. I dont want to make this a race issue, but in the moment standing in this establishment I felt like it was. I walked in there to about 3 or 4 people standing behind the counter. No one greeted me. I started to look at the menu, still nothing. The other 3 people left from behind the counter and went to the back the girl that was making a smoothie didnt even acknowledge my presence. After about 4 mins of standing there the guy making the sandwiches finally kind of signaled to see if I was ready, I nodded my head. Still no welcome or anything. I ordered my food & smoothie and told him that I would like my receipt. It took 3 people to fix the receipt machine. I didnt mind waiting because I had to wait for my smoothie and food. While Im standing there a white man with his 2 daughters entered this establishment. They were greeted with hellos and welcomes. I said nothing. When the girl who was on smoothie duty finished my smoothie she brought it over to the counter. I reached my hand out to take it and she sat it down on the counter and told me to have a nice day. I still didnt say anything even though I was boiling inside. The guy ordered 3 smoothies as I waited on my peanut butter banana crunch flat bread. After 10 mins of waiting. The guys 3 smoothies were ready and my flat bread still wasnt. The girl on smoothie duty took extra steps to walk all 3 of the smoothies over to where the guy and his daughter were. She made sure to hand each of them theres and asked if they needed anything else. Another slap in the face to me. Bottom line is the people employed here need a crash course in equal customer service for ALL! Now I wont be spending my hard earned money here ever again. I frequent the one at West Shore Plaza and their customer service is always impeccable. Racism still exist even if they do or dont acknowledge it for what it is!

I was really excited that they opened this location and have been enjoying going here for smoothies almost every morning. However this morning when I went to get my smoothie I was charged for two smoothies instead of the one that I normally order and didnt realize it until I got home. When I realized I was charged for two smoothies I called them to let them know of the mistake, not asking or expecting anything in return but just to let them know they made a mistake. Instead of being treated professionally and with kindness, I was met on the phone with the owner who was full of attitude and told me that she had to verify the information by looking back at the security cameras. I cannot believe simply making a small mistake over a two dollar smoothie would require somebody to have to look back at the information to verify that I am not lying as if Im some sort of criminal. Her attitude towards me was demeaning and shocking. Instead of giving good service and saying so sorry about that which is all she needed to do. If she keeps that kind of attitude up this location is certainly not going to be around very long. They certainly lost me as a customer.

My fiancé and I go here all the time since they opened. The food is good so I feel bad leaving one star, but the customer service we received tonight was so horrible I feel 1 star was appropriate, as we will never return. My fiancé called 25 minutes before they were closing to order 2 wraps for pick up (not even dining in) and the man rudely said "well we close soon". So we in turn told him it was just 2 wraps to go and we would be there in 10. He replied with "well Im making a sandwich right now so..." we said never mind and hung up. I cant believe how rude he was. I, myself work in customer service and always give the customer what they want/need up until the last minute we close. Once again, rude staffing and we wont be back.

Just came her to talk about how great the smoothies and food are but then got side tracked reading the two 1 star reviews. So funny. Both of the 1 star reviews sound like they were written by people with issues. Ive been here regularly for the past month and the service is fantastic. The employees make my order fast and even come around the counter to hand it to me with a smile. Based on the other many very positive reviews, Im going to assume that the two bad reviewers run into these sorts of problems with lots of people very frequently.

The management and service here is awful!!!! When the staff made a mistake they lied to the owner to cover their own asses instead of offering good customer service. The owner, clearly not understanding the concept of the customer is always right, chose to believe the staff and interrogate me instead. Ill never be going back there and I dont suggest anybody else does! They wont be here for long if they keep this up!!

I love visiting this Tropical Smoothie. The décor is updated compared to other tropical smoothie locations and it gives it a fresh feel inside. Ive met the owner multiple times during my visits and she is always friendly and accommodating to customers. I completely disagree with the below two posts and would highly recommend this Tropical Smoothie to others looking for a healthy smoothie or meal!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I ordered a wrap on my lunch break and with NO ONE in the store. The workers talked to their friends, ignored my order, and overall terrible service. They actually only started working on my order 30 minutes after I ordered. I was late back to work, and they snickered at me when I complained. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! The staff is garbage. DO NOT go to this location!

Just went in ordered 4 smoothies and 4 sandwiches to go. When we left about 2 miles away I found they had add peanut butter to our smoothies luckily with out the kids getting to it. I took back so he could correct, I got a roll of the eyes, he remade and tilted 2 cups at 75% full and said here. Nothing like my bad, or sorry or maybe can I offer you an adder on the house.

They advertise their vegetarian protein option for any of their wraps, but was out of stock of this item when I got here. Not offer for compisation or other options. While I was there the three employees there seemed to have no idea who was doing what. Tried the Veggie wrap instead, took all three of them to take the order and give me the correct change.

Today was my first time ever at tropical smoothie cafe and i loved it! The staff was very polite. The smoothies are to die for. I think i have found my heaven on earth and its name is Tropical Smoothie Cafe!!!!

Very friendly staff, always have coupons, and all the food is amazing! Ronica always has my food ready to go without a problem. Great place to grab a quick bite to eat or even a smoothie.
