A couple of these people writing reviews must be confused. Back Porch Garden Wine & Tea Bar of Crystal River has been open in Citrus County about 8 years. They are located on N. Citrus Avenue across from Heritage Village. The owners Norm and Gail are the most friendly and humble people you could ever meet. I cant imagine them ever being rude or bad-mouthing anyone. They go out of their way to accommodate their customers. They have wonderful fresh food suitable for a light lunch, gluten free soups and fresh baked scones. They have a large variety of iced teas and near-organic wines that are all available to sample. Or you can purchase loose teas to take home and enjoy. You will also enjoy browsing around their lovely retail store where you will find many unique items.

Our family frequents this place when in town. Love the tea and food. Owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I sometimes purchase tea during the year and have them ship it to me (Wisconsin) because theyre nice people, the prices are competitive, I dont pay shipping (when purchasing a minimum amount) and I dont have to waste time driving to a place around here - which would be 45 minutes to an hour round trip.

Great place! My husband and I like to go there for a snack and/or some tea sometimes, pretty regularly actually. The food is yummy and there are many lovely teas to try, iced and hot. They also have wine but my husband and I dont drink much. However, what I have tried of their wines I loved. The people are friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit! One of the few little gems you will find in Crystal River.

Very cozy and very friendly service from the minute we walked in the door. Great food and tea selection with organic options. Even went back the next day for a tea to go. The owner Norm was very helpful and nice. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

Prices are too high for what they make and tea cannot be sold in cups , you have to make the people decide how to make their tea and ...well..its something different in that area but let English make tea, keep on with your sodas.

Cozy and warm little cottage that serves amazing teas and sells local gifts. Worth a stop if youre in the area. Loses a star for not being open on Sundays, which is a huge letdown.
