Outstanding food and very friendly service. We could not be happier with our dining experiences here. We came to the area for a 7-day vacation. This was our first stop from the airport. In 7 days we dined here 4 times and had take-out another day. Each meal was fantastic. The fish was some of the freshest weve ever had. The black rice and beans the perfect delicious accompaniments. And the plantains! Oh, the plantains! SO good! And you MUST try their homemade key lime pie - YUM! You could not hope for faster or friendlier service - everyone here is top-notch, as is the food. The place is not fancy, but you wont care, believe me, once you taste the food. We miss it already, and weve only been home one day! We look forward to many more meals there when we once again visit the local state parks and nature preserves. If you decide to try the Havana House Cafe because of this review, tell em "the mushroom guy" says hello!

Havanna House Grill in Crystal River Will not ear there again. If u go, do not sit by windows as flies landed on table and our hands while eating. Owner saw us swatting flies and should have closed that section down; there is an interior dining room. Meat was so tough I couldnt chew it. Food very oily and poor quality. Not what u would expect at a restaurant. Waitress didnt even apologize about food; neither manager nor owner came over. Decor is mismatched.

Im disappointed to learn about all the bad reviews Im seeing on here. Just from my experience, the food is very good. I usually get the hot pressed Cuban sandwich to go, and its never disappointed me. The beans and rice were also great. Rosie is the owner and shes a delight.

Just moving to Inverness from Dade/Broward counties my wife and I were very disappointed with the food we ordered there. It was terrible and we had ordered a variety to fully sample their cooking-even the Cuban coffee was bad. We wont be going back there again.

I have had good and bad experiences here. About half the time my order has something wrong in it (no seasoning or ingredients missing). And the price is a bit on the high side for the amount of food you receive and running the risk of it not being correct.

We ate there last night and the food was excellent the service was spot-on and the build your bowls is better than Chipotles. Theres much more variety of ingredients to pick from. Also I firmly believe in supporting our local owned restaurants.

The rice and beans were ok but i couldnt eat the chicken. It was way over cooked so much i couldnt cut it. I showed the wait staff and they took the dish and gave me the full check..omg never had that happen ever. Will never go back

Rosie and Frank are great! They make you feel like family from the moment you step in the door. All of the food is flavorful and authentic. You will be coming back for more!!!! The brownies and caramel cake are to die for!

Best cuban I have had in my life!!! The owner & his wife sent us up for lunch Saturday & that made my hubby & my day. Thanks for lunch Mrs Rosie. Owners are wonderful & staff is great! Cant wait to try other dishes.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Their pulled pork dinner was delicious and the plantains were perfect! The service was great, and their homemade bread pudding was spot on. Definitely coming back to this place
