Went out for a birthday dinner with family. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait. No problem. They say theyll give us a call when our table is ready. I give them my number. I receive a text saying it will be a 30 minute wait. Longer by 10 minutes but we let it slide and decided to wait. Now over 40 minutes later and no call or text we go back and the girl keeps making eye contact and walking away from the front as if she doesnt want to deal with us. By the time she comes over and we explain weve been waiting and give her out name, she isnt quick to respond. She looks at the book and says "Did you mean party of John? You still have 20 minutes." I explain that wasnt us and tell her our name again. At this point a second girl has arrived. She tells us she can put down our name and it will be a wait. To which we reply were leaving because its pushing 50 minutes of waiting. Worst treatment ever. We received a text and they just skipped our place in line. And instead of fixing it and putting us at the top of the list they expect us to wait another 20 minutes? Never going there again.

My husband and I ate at one of the locations in Orlando for the first time back in August. So while we were in Tampa we decided to eat at one since our first experience was so wonderful and we do not have one in Jacksonville. We were there Saturday Jan 31st with our 4 year old daughter. Our waiter was nonchalant the whole time serving us. My husbands burger was undercooked and had to be taken back so he had to wait for his food. The manager did come over and apologize and offered to take care of dessert for us and we said we didnt complain to get something for free and her response was oh ok and left it alone instead of acknowledging what we said and say she will still take care of something for us. We ordered dessert and was charged for everything. Our drinks did not get refilled once while being there. Half of my meal I had no drink so finally at the end while paying our check I finally asked for a to go drink. The waiter not once offered to refill or nothing. The food was good once everything was cooked right but the service was not good.

First time to a Red Robin, very disappointed in most every aspect. My wife and I ordered a fried zucchini and mushroom appetizer which was so overly battered we were unable to eat almost half of it. Then, based upon the description and menu picture, we opted to split a Bacon Cheese Burger. We were presented with a burger more representative of a High School concession stand. Significantly smaller portion than anticipated, almost no bacon either and it tasted less than stellar. Prior to our getting our food we also ordered a burger to go for our son. Then we had a wonderful private meal as our waitress didnt come back for 20 minutes when the To Go order was ready. From that point it took another 15 minutes to get a drink and dessert to go. Then still had to ask and wait for To Go silverware for our son All in all, poor showing for a Gourmet Burger joint. I will say a very polite manager came at the beginning of our experience and asked to buy us a dessert or something, we refused as that wasnt our intention.

Burgers are pure bliss. Service is God awful. If you have a couple of hours for lunch or dinner and you want a really good burger, this is the place. If you like prompt seating, a server who checks on you, refills for your drinks, and easy payment at the end of your meal - its not. Ive been here half a dozen times in the last few months and its always the same. Also, the place is loaded with screeching kids, but thats a given at a burger joint at a shopping mall so no harm, no foul. The food is delightful -- once you can get your hands on it. The burgers are done to order and the ingredients are fresh. They put together some very unique flavors too like the Banzi Burger which features a burger covered in Teriyaki sauce with a pineapple ring! Outstanding. If only they knew how to run the front of the house, theyd be amazing. If they ran this place with even a shred of competence so far as efficiency and attentiveness are concerned, Id easily give it 5 stars, but my 3 star rating here is being VERY nice.

I wasnt going to write this review, (I dont like being a complainer) but then I just checked my bank account and seen the server added a dollar more to her tip! I came in the early evening, there was probably about 5 other customers in the restaurant. I ordered an UNsweet tea and the server brought a sweetend. I tried to just deal with it but I really dont like all that sugar. My server never came back and it wasnt until the manager dropped off my food when I was able to request another tea. She took the one I had and...never came back! It wasnt until I was almost finished with my meal when my server even came back to check on me! I dont understand how the service can be so bad when the place isnt that busy. Taking the extra dollar out of MY bank account is just the icing on the cake. Will not be visiting this location again.

We went to many locations in the past and this one is the worst I have seen. Their portions are less than other locations, they slow walk the fries so you eat less and the service is horrible. Our waitress was named harmony and she took forever to bring condiments when ordered with the meal and drinks took forever to be refilled even after they were ordered. We were there at a slow time on a Saturday evening and the waitress had fewer than 4 tables. IF YOU SIT IN HARMONYS section against my recommendation, run, run fast because you will be faster than her service if you cook it yourself after leaving. The manager was new and tried to make things right but short of a time altering DeLorean, it wasnt possible. AVOID AVOID AVOID

My experience was horrible. My waitress kept her check book in her butt in the back of her pants. Not a pocket or belt either, literally down her pants. I got to stare at my food for ten minutes on the counter waiting for my waitress to give it to me. Food was cold. Employees were yelling across the place. There was this guy making food in a tank top, hairy armpits sticking out, eating food in the line as he goes, no gloves. The manager was obsolete, did not come to my table once. I told my waitress my experience, she laughed it off. This place is disgusting. Violates so many health codes. I will never come back! Go to the one at countryside mall, that place is fabulous and clean. Horrible horrible horrible.

Six years ago when I rated Red Robin, I gave it only 4 stars, but since then Ive eaten at several chains a number of times and Ive gotta say: they are my favorite basic burger place. I love the Bonsai best, but will occasionally switch to the Prime Chophouse for their horseradish sauteed mushrooms. Their bottomless sides are a fantastic deal, and my husband and I will each order a different one (usually fries and broccoli) and share. Try the campfire sauce with most burgers and definitely the steak fries. Its one of several free sauces they offer. Its nice to patronize a company that makes you feel like you definitely got your moneys worth every time.
