I went in today and ordered an Empanada and fries, first no one was in sight. Guy came out of back room and took my order. He pulled fries out and put hand in and pulled out a hand full and threw them in the fryer, from about 2 feet away. Needless to say some went on the floor. He then to the empanada out of another freezer and threw it from about 3 feet away. At this point I said "I am sorry but I am not going to eat that as you did not wash your hands", he said "I didnt touch money!" I said I have no idea what you were doing in the back room and he had rang my order on the register which is pretty much like touching money. People just do not think, many places I have seen are just not careful enough. I would never go back to this Mr. Empanada. The one in Carrollwood is great!

The Italian Sausage & Cheese, Beef & Cheese, and the Buffalo Chicken Empanadas are totally awesome! Always cooked to order and dripping gooey goodness. The dough is always fresh as well. Awesome spot to try empanadas or just get one, two or three for lunch!

The most delicious empanadas I have eaten, all of them! I have been here before but this time I was in a hurry and bought some frozen ones to fry at home. I could sit down and eat two dozen all by myself!
