If I could rate them lower I would!!! DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT VERY RACIST & RUDE! Very Rude OWNERSHIP!!! I attempted to visit this place over the weekend. Apparently they dont care that you are paying them to to eat at their establishment and ordering their food to support their business. They have about 12 tables or more and one other couple was eating around 6:30pm on a Sunday. There was no line or any particular rush at this time to eat here. Had there been I wouldnt have had an issue. However, we wanted to sit by the window it was a 4 top table and the server said no the owner had a policy and we couldnt sit there being only 2 of us. At first I thought she was joking, I then said I would prefer to sit here, she insisted NO and I said are you kidding you have no one else here and no wait? I can leave then and she said, "okay thats fine". I then asked to speak with a manager or owner to discuss the problem hoping they would be reasonable and grant the request but to know avail a woman stormed from the back and started yelling saying " who did I think I was" and to "just leave" very very rudely. Honestly had she even said well I have to charge you an extra fee I would have accepted this and paid extra to sit where I wanted, I had no problem with that and once paid to have an entire Hibachi grill to myself and my significant other for a private anniversary. In all my years of visiting any type of establishment I have never been disrespected in such a manner here in my own country. All she had to do was explain her policy, as I stated there WAS NO LINE and plenty of tables open in the establishment. I am not sure if it was because we werent white, I dont know if this owner just that hell bent on forcing us to sit in a smaller table? But seemed very petty when I was about to pay her for her food I would never go back to this disgusting little cafe. In all my years of traveling I have never wrote a bad review on a place until now.

I have been to this establishment several times in the past and have always been very happy with the food, though Ive always expected to wait for it. However, today I arrived with guests from abroad. My son and I had been bragging about the place to them for a week and decided to treat them to breakfast as their last meal before they left the country. When we entered there was no one greeting/seating guests. After standing around awhile we opted to seat ourselves. After choosing a table up front we were yelled at by the waitress for turning the table a quarter turn clockwise to better accommodate our party of 4 (other larger parties had moved some tables together and the seating was a bit askew). One of the waitresses yelled at me from across the room in an extremely rude tone not to turn the table. Then she ordered us to go sit in the back. She didnt offer to help or show us to a table or anything. In fact, her tone and language gave the impression that she was put off that another group of customers had arrived that she would have to wait on. Because of her negative and rude manner we decided to leave. I asked her for her name, but she refused to give it, saying she was too busy. Its a pity that the poor and disparaging service by an employee put such a bad taste in my mouth that my taste for the food there is now also ruined. I will no longer patronize this establishment.

I went to this restaurant around 11am. I was sitting alone because I was waiting for an appointment in Ybor. The owner came up to me (woman) right before my meal came and asked me if I was having anyone join me. I told her I was on grabbing a quick bite before my meeting in 15 minutes. She told me I had to move to the bar or the small table in the back by the restrooms because I was alone. I was astonished. The restaurant was completely empty... there was one other couple there and at least 10 open tables and a completely open bar. I thought she was kidding. I asked "are you serious? Theres no one here." I told her if anyone came in, I would move (even though there were plenty of seats)... she gave me a nasty look, said "no"... of course during this conversation my meal arrives... she literally picks it up before I get a chance to even look at it and carries my plate to a small table near the restroom in the back. I got it to go and will never go back. It was $10 for this crepe... not very good... definitely not worth the price and THE MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. She continued to be rude to me... for no reason. I would not eat here--- go back to wherever you came from lady--- thats not how a successful business is ran here in America.

My husband and I liked the food after our first visit to this restaurant in Ybor. At that time we were told that there was only one four-seat table left and we could not sit there because it had to be kept for bigger parties. We understood that and sat at a tiny two-person table. Today we went for the second time. The restaurant was fairly empty with only two tables occupied. We asked for a four-table seat again because the seat last time was so small and very uncomfortable. A lady told us that we could not sit there. We pointed to a couple sitting right at the next four-seat table and asked her why. She said they were "old customers" with a very bad attitude. We were very upset and decided to leave. A waiter stopped us on your way out and asked us what had happened. However, after we told him, he did not say anything or seem apologetic at all and just sent us off. I do not think we will ever set food in this restaurant again, nor will we recommend it to anyone. The snobbish and unaccommodating attitude is very off-putting and upsetting. The same thing happened to us twice in a row and that is not the way to treat customers. Just because they have good food and people like it does not mean they can abuse that fact and get comfortable with bad service.
