Every night there is something exciting going on here. This place has changed channelside. When before the only options were city dog and maloneys close by...this place has pushed both businesses aside with amazing staff, food, and drinks. They always have engaging specials, activities, and the staff is personable. They remember most customers names. Not to mention the food...is fresh and amazing. Since DT has opened, I have not stepped foot in any other Channelside bar. It is an addicting atmosphere and good time. Josh, Ryan,Teresa, and Monica are amazing!

Double battered chicken was a deep fried chewy piece of old breaded chicken fried in old burnt oil. It was awful. Called Grubhub and the restaurant wouldnt refund the item. The goodness for Grubhub or I wouldve been at a loss. Spent almost $90 for food that was microwaved and over cooked from a restaurant that wouldnt take responsibility for it and authorize a refund when GrubHub called. Dont order takeout delivery from here, better to spend less money for subpar food than pouncy/fancy "gastropub" food that doesnt cut it.

I am giving this a 4 star review as the food was okay but it took over 30 minutes for two fried baskets to come out. The manager came over after we spoke to a different server and was super helpful. She did the right thing and took care of us. We will certainly be back to try the food again. Beer list is okay. Staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a shot if in the neighborhood. Live music at noon was a bit weird on a Saturday when all the TVs were showing college football.

The atmosphere here is great for hanging out with friends. A good place to have a good time! There service was awesome! Our bartender made the best mimosas at the table for out group! He took his time to explain the menu to us and the food was good too! A little but of a wait, as I believe most of the food is done to order, which is good as I had a freshly done burger. Parking can be a little tricky downtown so keep that in mind when coming here... otherwise great place!

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place seriously deserves one. My husband and I live close to District Tavern and absolutely love it. It’s truly a neighborhood bar and a great addition to the Channel District. Their food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff treats us like family. It’s always a pleasure coming here for happy hour, trivia night or Sunday brunch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

District Tavern is a welcome addition to the Downtown Tampa Channelside area which is kind of hurting for restaurants. This tavern is at the base of the new SkyHouse Apartment Highrise and has some pretty good specials on food and drinks. A little pricey but thats to be expected downtown. Service has always been pretty good!

I eat here at least once a week and have never been disappointed! From the burgers to the wings and the chocolate mousse, you cant go wrong with anything on their menu. And if you need a great drink look no further. Trivia on Wednesday is also a must! Id give it 10 stars if I could!!

Best burger ever. We were there on a Sunday and the breakfast burger was outstanding. Tavern burger was so juicy and perfectly seasoned. The nachos were incredible. Service was a little slow and the waitress forgot our sodas, but it didnt bother us much. Would DEFINITELY return.

Seriously just want the beers available that the tap handle say are there. This place feels like a party place that should only have natty light on tap. Very disappointed in the place. The beer the bartender didnt even know what jia lai was it came out tasting like a coffee beer.

Literally my favorite place to be in Channelside. All my favorite beers, delicioussss food, and so friendly. The perfect mix of modern & comfortable, great place to chill after a long workday or to soak in Friday vibes with the DJ. Like Cheers of Channelside, but better.
