The is a great addition to Tampa. It has been many years since we have had a true pool hall. There are 22 tables, most of them being 8 footers, with a few 9s. There is no smoking inside, but there is a huge patio area where smoking is permitted. At the time of this review they had not yet gotten their patio license, so no drinking outside yet, but they assured us that they are working on it. The staff is great. The bartenders are hot and the beer is cold. The drinks though are a little on the pricy side but that is to be expected with a brand new place. They have to make some of that initial capital back, and with being the only true pool hall in Tampa they can command those prices a little more than other places can. They do have several different pool league formats that have started playing out of there I am told. I ran into one there on Tuesday night, USAPool run by a man named Wes Burden. I joined in on there season opener tournament and registered to play there this season and have some fun. Overall I see a great place that is going to do great in the Tampa market, my only reason for a 4 star rating is the pricing and the patio drinking. Once those 2 things come dealt with then this is going to be a solid 5 star place that is going to be packed almost all the time. Good thing there is plenty of parking available.

It wasnt even 1am on a thurday night.The bartender told me the kitchen was, most likely, closed. He said he would have check and get back with me. He walked down to the end of the bar, wiithout saying a word to Anyone, he walked back to me and said "she said the kitchen was closed," This is after spending 15 minutes, at a high top table, and being ignored by the entire staff. I felt like i was being judged, and by the way everyone turned thier nose at me, they thought they were better. My house is right across the street in Beacon Meadows, im a great tipper, and its disgusting the way i was treated. Ive been treated better at 5 star restaurants where you qould expect this type of attitude. There house speciall is a burger with nachos and chili on it. I will never return again. I May order some food to go, because i like burgers with chilli, and this is the only place around to get any prepared food. However, I will never attempt to dine in again. Thursday night. Decent atmosphere to meet someone for a quick drink or for a group out for a game of billiards. I have not tried any of their food selections but they can make a well drink taste better than it should. Pricing on drinks seem to vary on the time of the order, as in, they get more expensive as it gets later it seems--or I was just overcharged. There is an outside patio area where you are now allowed to bring beverages out with you if you care to have a smoke break. Patio furniture is probably the most uncomfortable Ive ever sat in. The chairs inside are also not too great...so now that I think about it, definitely more of a stand-up place, especially if youre playing pool.

The beer selection is great and the place is decent. The place is usually silent, as people need to put money in the jukebox in order to hear any music. The TVs in the bar are also on mute. One of my biggest problem is that the food selection is very slim. This is only bar Ive been to that does not offer fried foods such as Wings and Fries. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was very obvious that the chips were store bought and so was the pork. If you are a pool expert, then this place is for you. If you live in plantation and only looking to relax and have a good time, I would recommend Buckets down the street as it has better food, larger beer selection and music.

First time visiting this place. If it were closer to me I would absolutely be a regular. I came in on a pool league night so the place was packed with pool player and yet the bar staff and wait staff were on point. Saw some great interactive social media and even got a free drink for participating. I did not eat while I was here so that may change things on my next visit but this place seemed to be running well and things were surprisingly clean considering how many people were there when I came in.

Pleasant staff, clean atmosphere. I hope they either take stock in the dart manufacturer or start buying a different brand bc I went through about 7 tips breaking throughout my 1 game. I would also like to maybe see them expand their menu. Other than that, it is a great addition to the neighborhood. Well lit inside and not super dismal like other bars nearby. The staff is attentive and personable too. Again, not like nearby bars. Ill be back

Such a fun non-smoking place to hang out with friends to play some pool or even darts. Lots of pool tables, about 6 dart boards that are very nice with fun games to play and they have a touchtunes jukebox so you can pick your music. Always a fun time when we go!! Would recommend to anyone looking to have a good time without having to deal with the dirty smelly billiards hall.

Waited for the bartender to finish her conversation with her friends who were very billigerent, dropped a glass cup, then she asked us what we wanted and she gave my black boyfriend and I attitudes. There was 2 groups of people who dropped a total of 3 cups, she was nice to them all night yet would roll her eyes everytime my group I asked for a drink. Never going there again.

Very nice looking place inside and out. I have been here 4 times now all 4 occasions the service has pretty much been the same I can only speak from my own personal observation " If you are a person of COLOR you will have to wait for any kind of service". With 36 beers on tap, 22 billiards and 8 electronic dart boards Brewlands is definitely a great place to hang out. Unfortunately it is not kid friendly. Food choices are limited and what we had was not so good or tasty. But for billiard players this is the ultimate place to be... PS.. Black Widow also frequents BrewLands 1 day a week.

Staff is garbage. Been there 6 times. Each time I wait 5 10 minutes at the bar to be served and get a table. The bartenders ignore you. The door man was rude, came with my wife last time and he asked if "I had problem!" as we walked in the door, what a punk! = Its a cool place but wont be going back they need a change of staff

The cleanest most abundant billiards establishment in Tampa. Smoke and vaporizer free too! 15 eight foot tables, 7 nine foot tables, friendly and active waitstaff and bartenders. The food has continued to improve since they opened, as well as the service. Wide variety of beer, and normal liquor selections.
