Attention: Redeye serves Cuban coffee! This place was recommended to me by a friend who said it was a great place to do work or study while sipping on some tea or coffee. Yes, thats pretty much what everybody sitting here is doing whenever Im there so this seems more like a work place than anything else. The coffee is really good. Their menu is pretty big and they have some good free-trade coffee options. I was most impressed that they have Cuban coffee and their cortadito is excellent. They also have the option to have almond or soy milk which I love since I usually get my coffee with almond milk. Really convenient place with delicious coffee. Win-win.

With excellent coffee and just the right amount of white noise chatter, the popular RedEye Coffee offers a great atmosphere to sit down and read a book, send some emails, or complete the weeks homework. The establishment is very environmentally conscious and puts heavy emphasis on their fair trade coffee and ethical practices. RedEye is far enough from Tallahassees universities to feel like youre getting away from the clutter of the city, but close enough to be home in a few songs off youre playlist. If you are in Tallahassee and are looking to try a trusted, local, coffee shop, head north to RedEye.

Red Eye is the best coffee shop in tallahassee. I dont know what happened to Edward, but Ive been going here for 4 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Its run by a church (so you get that friendly vibe), and is for a great cause. The coffee is great, the food is great, perfect atmosphere, huge open space, great during the day or during the night. Only thing I dont like about this place is that they close so early (10pm). Overall, best coffee shop in Tallahassee!

Absolutely the best coffee in Tallahassee! I roast my own beans at home, so I can be a little particular. When I am not drinking my own coffee, I go to RedEye. Both the dark and medium roast coffees are excellent, and always fair trade. Every server I have had over the years has been very pleasant and attentive -- not in the disingenuous, over-the top way that you can find at other popular coffee shops. I give RedEye my strongest recommendation!

The coffee is superior to chains and the atmosphere is unbeatable. This is a great local joint you cant miss! The other review is way out of the norm for an experience at Red Eye. When their credit card machine was down they just rang it up and said to pay next time I was in(I did.) and THAT is the customer service typical of RedEye. Tip: their Chai Latte is the best Ive ever had.

This place is super cozy and a great spot in Midtown to relax, catch up with friends and study. Their coffee is organic, so theyre a gem in my book. The staff is friendly and helpful! I will definitely be frequenting more often. I havent tried their food, as Im a vegan but their coffee is delicious and I feel like this shop is over looked.

I had read the reviews and decided to check it out - they were very nice and at the end, I asked if they could heat up the rest of my coffee and they ended up putting hot milk in it instead which was perfect for me bc I like lots of cream, plus it was a free shot of milk to a regular sized decaf cup....

I like the ambiance and the wifi. :-) Actually just been there once to meet with a client. I was all coffeed up before I got there, but people were taking selfies of their coffee. Must have been excellent. I will certainly go back

I love RedEye. The cafe con leche is the best Ive ever had. It goes really well with their $1 bagels. The people there are really sweet and the music is awesome. I wish it was closer to where I live. P.S. The barista I got was hot!

Great place to get away from the college side of town and one of the best coffee brews in the area. I come here several times a week. Just be aware the shop is visited by a disproportionate amount of religious people.

Try their "nitro brew". Cold brewed mexican coffee with added beer gas. The gas is simply nitrogen and CO2. Has a smooth non-acidic carbonation.
