Pros: food is mostly quite good, but the steak chili in a bread bowl contained so little chili that it was like a miniloaf dipped in chili. Cons: too small and therefore too crowded. They needed a bigger space, but since that point is now moot, at least they could try to arrange the seating a bit better. Service is spotty. One of my orders got dropped, and another time I stood several minutes waiting to buy bread while the cashier chatted up her friends and the other staff just looked at me like I was a mildly interesting landscape feature. Even when I gave up and left, they just watched me walk out. It was downright unnerving. It was late and most customers had left, but honestly, whos managing this place?

Panera used to be a place to go for quality food. Now days the bacon is no longer thick and crispy but thin, chewy, cheap and pre-cooked. The bagels have shrunk, the sandwiches are skimpy and they have made changes to menu favorites like the b-b-q chicken salad that is just down right disgusting !!! Onion straws, REALLY? But one thing remains consistent,the prices continue to rise while potions and quality continues to decline. And please do not look over the counter to watch the food prep. No longer my go to spot. :-(

As someone who frequently places large orders of individual and often customized dishes at all kinds of local restaurants and restaurant chains across the east coast, including many different Panera franchises, I always view ordering at this particular Panera location as a luxury. Always dependable and timely, and you wont find a better, more caring manager than Karen.

I was really disappointed with a recent visit to this panera. I had a coupon for a free meal and they told me I had to order my meal online and have it sent tontheir. Store. Well, my phone was dead and I had no way to do that and they didnt care or help me in anyway. So my coupon has expired. thanks for nothing.

The friendliest employees, the best atmosphere (nice and quiet, pleasant conversation). Most of all, the best pastries, soups and sandwiches in town!! This is my first stop when I come to Tallahassee!
