EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING AND OVER PRICED. You would think a $14 burger would start with a good hand made pattie but it seemed more like a frozen bubba burger and had no flavor. The coleslaw was bland and didnt seem very fresh either. Their pizza chips appetizer is a ~$10 bowl of fried dough balls you dip in a tiny cup of pizza sauce. For $10 youd think they could have some kind of meat or cheese in them and give you a reasonable amount of sauce. The sweet potato fries were pretty good though and the service wasnt too bad. My wife got a BLT and said it was pretty good. Would rate the food alone at 2.5-3 but giving them a 1 star overall due to the ridiculous prices for mediocre food. Over $50 for 3 people!

First visit, but I was underwhelmed with my wrap choice. Very bland and dry Turkey wrap, I should have asked for mayo or some sort of sauce. I also ordered the green beans, but they seasoned with too much cracked black pepper, too spicey for me to eat. My friend ordered a hamburger and she was satisfied with it. But we found the prices too high for sandwiches, wraps and burgers , the average price per item is $11.99. High for a sandwich and one side. I will try to give another chance because i know the owners have a great reputation in Tallahassee, but they would recommend some small plates for seniors or folks that dont want alot to eat. My wrap would be better priced at 9.99 in lieu of 11.99.

Sat through the menu for 20 minutes with fiancee just to figure out what we wanted to eat. Well worth it. I Ordered shepherds pie with chicken instead of beef. She ordered the Rudy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hooked up extra gravy to take home. Very prompt and attentive. Service was FAST. Food was amazing. Prices are good and food was amazing (again). The selling point for this place is that they have many options (which can take a while to figure out) and you can substitute anything for anything and mix it all up. Decor is cool, but the lighting is a little intense. Other than that it was a great experience. =) Dope spot. Suggest this place to anyone.

Imagine "Monks" (Tharpe St. Fame) but better! Hard to imagine improving on perfection... I know. Yet its true. Midtown Caboose is the perfect addition to the Five Points. We ordered two apps (peppercorn goat cheese / pulled pork wontons) which were both (brace yourself, dear reader) Divine. That word was uttered by my wife - so its true. My entree was the sushi chef. Sublime. The product of a creative line. My wife had Taylors turkey train. She says "heavenly" - we both thought our own dishes were the better of the two. Dessert? Oh sure... The Gordon T for two did not disappoint. Were regulars. Period.

The staff and the food were awesome. My husband and I had the Spicy Shrimp Po Boy and The Reagan. Both were absolutely delicious. I think they both could have used a little more sauce, but I love a good sauce, so Id recommend requesting a side of the sauce with your sandwich/burger. The regular fries were decent but nothing to write home about, and the sweet potato fries were lackluster at best. I would be fine with ordering the regular fries as a side again, but I wouldnt order the sweet potato fries again, and Ill almost always choose sweet potato fries over regular fries.

Midtown Caboose just became one of my top 3 restaurants in Tallahassee tonight. I came here for my birthday after just searching random dine-ins in town that welcomed big parties(I had about 16). I came across MC which happened to have great reviews and a very interesting menu. I grew up loving the Monte Cristo and this is one of the few spots in Tallahassee with it. The food was good and the service was just as satisfying. Rachel took care of everyone and went out of her way to display great service. Definitely recommend this place.

I was reluctant because I havent liked the previous restaurants that have filled this spot, but the burgers were AMAZING! We split The Sundance Kid, and it was more than enough food for two hungry people. They also have a great beer selection that seems to change pretty regularly. It was a busy night, but the food came pretty quickly, and the server was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it if you like good burgers!

Great environment and one-of-a-kind sandwiches! MUST get the sweet potato fries. Theres a patio if you want to sit outside. I brought my family here for my birthday and they accommodated us and everyone was impressed. Ive gone here half a dozen times and always been impressed by the quality of food. Casual, but good. And I recommend to those in town for a visit.

Everything is good! Perfectly cooked burgers with all sorts of toppings and amazing side items (the sweet potato fries are my favorite). The parking can be difficult, so get there early. We were told by the hostess that after 5 pm you can park in the United Way lot across 7th avenue. For me, the prices are a bit high for weekly visits.

You will very likely find something you love (not just burgers, although that is the reason you come here) and then order it every single time you come back. Service is great. Burgers are some of the best you will find in our beloved Tallahassee. Indoor seating, outdoor seating. Enjoy this perfect Tallahassee gem.

The food is awesome, however slowly the staff is getting worse and worse. They are not able to function when they are moderately busy. I am writting this review as I sit in the place. Its been 21 minutes now, and I havent even been asked what I would like to drink. I wish self serving was an option sometimes.

The first place I usually think of when wanting a burger is Midtown Caboose. I like how you can build your own and even some of their unusual named burgers are excellent too. The only problems are that it can get pricey and the parking is awful but I can see myself going back for another burger.

Cool and quaint place to enjoy a meal with a view you cannot beat. Better seating upstairs for a more private mood. Food is excellent and on point, service personal was very attentive and nice. It is also a boutique style hotel, i enjoywd my time there ans would definitely go back

We found this spot traveling home from the beach. Midtown Caboose did not disappoint. My husband got a sandwich and I tried a wrap and they were both fantastic. We could have tried everything on the menu because it was unique and all looked yummy. Great spot! We will be back!

Go there. Try it. They have the most fun variety of cheeseburgers Ive ever seen. We were only able to try a few, but everything was delicious. We were passing through on vacation and wanted to try a good local place. This surpassed expectations in every way. Amazing food.

Our "go-to" place for burgers. My wife loves the "Betsy" & the "Monkey Cristo". Im all over the menu from the "Mother o Dragons" to the "Maui Wowee" to the "Sushi Chef". Ive also become a fan of the "Cuban Cigar", a pretty good, if not authentic Cuban, sandwich.
