Prepare to wait a loooooong time, even when the place is nearly empty. Buckle up for a yarn. My wife and I took our kids (three under age 5) after church. Never again. There were maybe five other parties seated when we arrived. After we ordered, we waited nearly an hour for our food. Our hungry kids were ticking time bombs counting down the minutes to full-on meltdown. Our waitress was M.I.A. most of that time. We did the usual stall tactics to keep the poor kids minds off their pitifully empty stomachs. About 45 minutes in, the waitress brought some bread. Explanation? Since the food will still be a while, heres some bread. (I thought bread was a given at a sit-down place like this? Guess at Bonefish its a way to keep the grumbling inmates from rioting.) My two starving boys fell on that miserable loaf like crazed castaways after weeks lost at sea. When the kitchen staff finally brought out the food, I discovered that my fish and chips would comprise 80% batter, 20% fish. I would have at least asked for malt vinegar if not for the amber alert out on our absent waitress. We finally recovered our lost waitress when she came out of hiding to deliver the check. By this time my eight-month old daughter was way past naptime and in full nuclear meltdown mode. We had to rush everyone out the door to spare other patrons the auditory shrapnel of tired, angry baby screams. Not my idea of a memorable family lunch. Please dont go. Just dont do it.

I echo the other reviews here about how poorly this restaurant is run. First time visit recently and I will never go back despite the restaurant being only a mile from my house. Tried their Tuesday special menu and was there for over 90 minutes. Had to wait on hostess to appear at the reservation desk despite the restaurant being almost empty. Once at the table the waiting really started. Huge delays for everything. Side dish, steamed broccoli was raw (it should have come with ranch for dipping). Once the table was cleared of the main course 20min wait for desert. Asked to speak to the manager. Waited for him to appear of course. Manager was obviously stressed (in over his head?) and basically ignored my concerns. Do not visit this restaurant unless you enjoy waiting a long time for overpriced, badly prepared food.

Just came from Bonefish Alpharetta and very disappointed in the service. We were there tonight to celebrate a birthday and upon being seated I asked the hostess to let the waitress know we were there for a birthday. My large chillian sea bass was ordered a large and it came out as a small. The manager came out and weighed it and it was in fact a small portion so they brought me an additional piece. The waitress apparently forget at the end of the meal we were there for a special occasion and the birthday was forgotten. As we were leaving I let the hostess know they forgot and she said she did let the waitress know. If you are going to work at one of the more expensive places around you should be able to remember if some is there for a special occasion. The food was quite good but the service killed it .

I was there a few days ago. Their Bang Bang shrimp dish is amazing. The rest of the food was not that great. My plate came and the food was so burned, it was black and reaked of burned food. My husbands fish was thrown on the grill before it was unfrozen and was cooked on the outside and mush on the inside. I was expecting a restaurant like this to have pride in the delivery and quality of their food. To be fair, the manager has exchanged my dish for one that was cooked and not burned, yet, it still tasted odd and I ended up not eating it. As far as I am concerned, we are not going back.

I beg you..do not go here on mothers day or any special occasion..3.5 hrs to get your drinks..appetizers and entrees is an extreme..a group leaving us said good luck and i had a whiff of upcoming displeasure..half of the issue is sheer mismanagement and understaffing on a known busy day..half of it is absolute disconnect on below avg waiters and their pissed patrons..thanks to erin the mgr who somehow saw my growing frustration and grabbed our appetizers otherwise i was ready to make a storm specially when you know youre paying more than a mcmeal price.

To all... Please open a Bonefish Grill in the Acworth, GA area off of US 41/Cobb Parkway & Mars Hill intersection. Your restaurant will kill it here! This area is in dire need of great restaurants. Were inundated with fast food and mediocre chain restaurants at best. Your Ahi Tuna, Bang-Bang Shrimp, fresh fish selections, and freshly baked bread... Whats not to love? The drive to Alpharetta is just to great on a regular basis. Please look into the Acworth, Kennesaw areas. Also, a shout out to your Augusta, GA location and your Williamsburg, VA

Wait Wait Wait. We called ahead and made reservations for early evening (before 6), there were very few customers and we got seated promptly. then the wait started. and we waited. and waited some more, then the manager came over and took a drink order. we got drinks, then waited some more.. and waited. and waited.. with all the waiting we had to do, it seems thats the one thing they werent doing. Waiting on tables. we never saw a waiter/waitress. we ended up leaving, very disappointed. Were like Fleetwood Mac...Never going back again.

Good food and atmosphere. Love their bang bang shrimp and their drinks are excellently prepared. Only reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 4 is because recently the hostess failed to mention an upcharge on both sides costing us an extra ~$10. Made no attempt to correct or apologize. When spending ovrr $60 on two meals, a certain level of service is expected that was not there.

When I visited this restaurant, I noticed that the Health Department rating was a 67, which, to me, was a Red Flag that I need to be cautious about what I order. I noticed some rat traps behind the bar in several places, while I waited for my drink. The server was slow and my food was not hot when it came out. I didnt see anyone from Management circulating to greet any customers.

The place is run poorly with wrong food being served to the wrong tables, chefs running around like chickens with heads cut off, the front door opens and the whole place lights up like the surface of the sun, waited 15 minutes and still didnt know who our server was, attitude from management when we decided to leave...wow! And we had free certificates for dinner!

Wanted Gruper but its no longer available and probably will nolonger be on the menu. So they offered me grilled cobia. It was good, but not quite as good as Gruper. Because of this I gave them 4 stars instead of my normal five. I checked out some other favorite seafood restaurants and they had Groper, and it was delicious. So Im not sure why Bonefish Grill didnt.

A lot of bad reviews here so I was concerned. But had a gift card. The entire staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was great. The food was delicious. I had the Pecan Crusted Trout and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass. Portions are perfect. They have a gluten free menu too. Excellent dessert and coffee.
