Possibly one of my worst dining out experiences. Ive lived in Sebring all my life and have never had a problem since this weekend, but it makes me think this location is under new and failing management. We were a party of six adults and two children (19months and 7months) that needed high chairs. When I put our name in with the hostess I explained this and she told me that our wait would be 20-25 minutes. After 45 minutes waiting to be seated, we decide to leave and pick up some fast food since our toddler was starving and her bedtime was 8:00 (it was 6:00 when we arrived). At that point we were assured that a table was almost ready for us. So we stayed. When we were seated a few minutes later they led us to a six person table with one chair replaced with a high chair. The toddler ended up having to sit in her mothers lap and we had to squeeze four on the booth side that was only meant to fit three. When our server came we told her we were ready to order and along with our meals asked that a plate of French fries be brought out as soon as possible because our toddler was extremely hungry from the wait. About 45 minutes later, we received the French fries. At that time it was getting close to 8:00, so we asked our server to bring our food in boxes and with the checks because we needed to leave as soon as possible and wouldnt be able to eat it here. She seemed rather flabbergasted and agreed. About 15 minutes later we still had no food and we stood to leave and one of our party went to talk to the manager about paying for the fries and drinks and to explain that weve been here for two hours with no food and we have to go. They told us our meals were being boxed at the moment, so we stood in the dinning area while they brought out our checks. We asked if anything could be done about our bills due to the inconvenience, and the manager begrudgingly deducted a total of only $9 between the six of us. After paying, we sent the family with the toddler on ahead to put her to bed while the rest of us waited for the food. Once our food came they were missing a meal (Thank goodness we checked! We almost left without it!). When our missing meal finally came out, it was on a plate and we had to send it back to be boxed. Finally, we were able to leave. When we returned home, all of our meals had to be reheated. It was a terrible waste of time and money, not to mention extremely frustrating to have paid almost full price for a restaurant meal that we had to reheat, use our own plates and forks, and provide our own drinks for. What made the experience even worse was the staffs attitude- it was as if they couldnt understand why we wanting to leave after waiting two hours with no food. We should have gone to Wendys when we first thought of it in the waiting area.

Never going to go to this location again. Its always a horrible dining experience. Management needs to be retrained, then the employees need to be trained. Went Feb 11th at 8:30pm, a full hour before closing. Seems the manager was in a hurry to shut down and leave early. No bread because they already closed down that part of the kitchen. We felt completely rushed to finish and get out. They were literally cleaning and shutting down at 9pm. Two servers were even fighting loudly when more customers came in and were seated, seems neither wanted to take care of them. The manager was standing right there and didnt put an end to it. Our food was finally brought out and we asked our server for mayo and ketchup. After waiting almost 10 mins, the mayo was finally brought out but was told it was going to be a few more mins. for ketchup since they had already closed down that section of the kitchen and they had to reopen it to get more. Once we started eating, my companion realized the medium well burger he ordered was charred far beyond WELL DONE. It was burned, dry and almost rock hard.... when the server came back we were told "Sorry, there isnt anything I can do, the kitchen is already closed." It was only 9:10pm and their posted hours said they were open until 9:30pm. We heard other patrons also complaining without anything being done. We left around 9:25 and as we were walking to our vehicle at least 6 of the servers that had been working were already heading out to their cars to leave. I have never seen the employees leaving even before you actually close for the night. With the prices you charge for mediocre food at best, I would think you would be eager to stay open, at least until your posted time of closing for the day.

we were a group of 7 adults that went for the Sebring Bike fest on 10-4-13 thru the 6th . the only thing we can all remember as good was that a young man held the door open for us . when our food arrived it was particially wrong, the waiter stood at one end of the table and had us pass the food to one another (that should have been a sign ) the steaks were not cooked like we asked, he seemed to have a bit of an attitude and when questioned he would say OH i did not mean to offend you" one our our friend asked for the steak and all you can eat shrimp Well after his second plate of shrimp he was already getting the bill. We question why he gave us the bill without asking if we wanted anything else in which we did order the down under cake.He did not seperate the bill by parties . when the cake came he brought a fork because all the spoons were dirty as he said. Now this has nothing to do with his skin color as he was a heavy set black man since i did not get his name. I would never go back to this place and neither will the rest of my friends..

I am not a regular patron of Outback Steakhouse restaurants and have limited experiences at other locations but I have visited this location 3-4 times (due to receiving gift cards from friends and family over the last year). The food is great and have no issues with the food besides the fact that it is quite expensive for mediocre food but thats a company issue. My biggest complaint with this location is the speed of service. Out of all my visits to the Sebring Outback, I have never been able to be served an entire meal in under 2 hours (this does not include seating time). I have been there when its packed and when there was hardly anyone at the restaurant and service takes FOREVER! I suggest that if you dont have 2 hours plus to spare for a meal, skip Outback Steakhouse. Im not sure if its a management issue, kitchen problems, or training of the servers, but something needs some attention here.

To start, Im pretty sure my spouse got food poisoning from his fried chicken sandwich the next day after we ate here. It was so bad he had to call off of work. We waited over 40 minutes for burgers and a chicken sandwich. The long wait had my toddler upset and screaming because she was hungry. Didnt really make sense since they were not that busy. They finally came out and the plates were all cold. Imagine that. They definitely sat for awhile. Complained and manager offered 10% off our meals. Seriously? I came to eat hot food, not cold. We let the kids eat despite their meals being cold since they were grumpy and ready to have full blown hunger meltdowns. Eventually our server came and said not to worry about the bill and gave us a free appetizer voucher. Unreal. Every time we come we here we have a problem. Same for most of the chain restaurants in Sebring.
